A Morrocan lady and her son make their way around Chapel Allerton, Leeds.
Sadly her English was broken and she struggled to make herself understood to the bus driver before arriving there. Luckily I was there to help. She was friendly and appreciative of this.

I have mentioned before that my brother-in-law, Hugh, and his son are mechanics who have a particular passion for high-performance and classic cars. I showed this son's LS7 powered Chev Sonoma in an earlier shot. This is Hugh's project, a 1967 Camaro convertible, being restored to stock condition. As you can see the fenders are off (waiting for the primer to harden) and thus you can get a good look at the engine block and parts of the front suspension. Hopefully, the Camaro will be seen in car shows in the Niagara area later this summer. It sure is nice having mechanics of this type in the family since it helps me keep my toy in good shape too. The original image was taken using a hand-held Nikon D5000 fitted with Nikkor 12-24mm lense set to 14mm, ISO800, Aperture priority mode, f/5.6, 1/40 sec. The single image was processed as an HDR (hence it is tone-mapped and not strictly HDR), using Luminance/Qtpfsgui with settings as shown below. The result was PPed in GIMP: tone curve slightly adjusted to get a fuller range of tones, slight saturation boost (overall), sharpen, add border and scale to 1024 wide for posting here.
