Estimated : € 200.000 - 250.000

Sold for € 195.500

After a decade of Diablo production and Lamborghini’s recent purchase by corporate giant Volkswagen, this gave the company a perfect opportunity to produce a new supercar that could address the Diablo’s build quality and reliability issues to ensure their future success and profitability. Introduced in 2001, the Murciélago proved to be an instant hit and the model’s first major update, the LP640-4, only improved upon what was already an excellent car.

Fitted with the optional E-Gear paddle-shift transmission, this Murciélago LP640-4 was originally delivered new to Dubai and is finished in the popular colour scheme of Orange over a two-tone orange and black leather interior. Regularly serviced throughout its life, it should be noted that the front bumper was repainted to keep the condition of the nose just as good as that of the rest of the car. Furthermore, it is important to note that it retains its original manuals and tool kit.

A landmark model for Lamborghini, with the Volkswagen group’s corporate oversight, the Murciélago truly brought Lamborghini into the 21st century and proved that it could compete with Ferrari’s twelve-cylinder offerings. With only 8,000 km from new, this Murciélago would certainly be just as thrilling to drive as it is to behold.

The "200 club" just got a new member.

Lamborghini unveiled a supercar that can reach a top speed of 202 mph. The aptly named "Huracan"—Spanish for "Hurricane"—is Lamborghini's latest weapon in the war of the supercars—six-figure cars that can often top 200 mph and appeal to the world's super rich who like speed, innovative designs and new technologies.

The new Lamborghini replaces the company's iconic Gallardo, which was the most successful Lambo ever. While there is no price published yet, some of the auto press say the Huracan is expected to start at more than $250,000.
