Wednesday again, time does fly! Hope it's a good one for you all. HIHD ;0) These ladybirds are so tiny, but in this case the female was a bit bigger than her amorous male friend - I'm not sure if this is always the case! ;0)
Nothing like looking into a loved ones eyes though I fear they may try to lick my face before having anything else today.

My nephew Jon has cystic fibrosis, he is a hero - He got a double lung transplant in March 2007 this is a portrait of his dog, Bo - I did it for Jon's 26th birthday August 2007.
Art installation entitled Dichroic Sphere by artist Jokob Kvist. On display alongside the Royal Festival Hall in the Southbank Centre. Part of the 2024 Winter Light event.
Here the father potoo came to protect and feed the baby potoo. A very touching moment. It was a blessing being there.

It was nice to see Hildegard nuzzling today with her best friend, Julianne. Hildegard spends her days with the alpacas (the sheep in the goat yard harass her) and sleeps with Julianne at night. I let the goats out today to graze around the farm, but there still wasn't much greenery for them. They mostly stood around and enjoyed the change of scenery.
This is in loving memory of my Uncle Billy- my Mom's brother and only sibling. He was a great and kind man, could always make you laugh. He passed away this afternoon. God bless his soul.

My first year planting them and won't be my last... the bees and butterflies love them!!
Oh, no, more tiny hoverflies! Only about 1/4" or 5mm. Clinging to a dangling coneflower petal. Handheld so not perfect focus and very shallow DOF but was very happy to seen them.
Sorry for so many photos, may replace them if I get better ones. :)
