Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a red day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Macro Mondays is Matchstick.
My fascination with burnt matchsticks isn’t new. Dont you think that there is something nostalgic or even sad about burnt matchsticks ? Maybe it is the gray/black color… or the feel of the irrevocable end ... or the burnt tree (even if it is very small and thin, I can’t help myself but I see a burnt tree …). There is something lonely and sad in a burnt match. How come something so small can have this huge melancholic feel to it, I don’t know. That is the beauty of small things around us...But after this challenge, I have a new photographic obsession : matchsticks ! Don’t worry it is only a photographic obsession, I’m not planing on burning anything !!
But since we are Monday, I have to go and join my video meeting since my first obsession is (not) cartography lol !!
Mucho, mucho amor for you all !! Have a beautiful day my friends !! See you later!!
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !!
"Love hurts, love scars
Love wounds and mars
Any heart
Not tough or strong enough
To take a lot of pain, take a lot of pain
Love is like a cloud
Holds a lot of rain
Love hurts
Ooh, ooh love hurts"

Just spent a few lovely days away, up in Scotland for our anniversary.
Hoping to catch up on all I've
missed sometime tomorrow :)
For Macro Monday, Aug 14
Theme: high key
I'm deeply saddened by the events over the weekend and felt the need to speak of love in a visual art form, so I combined the MM theme with the message.
Love,
Dee
And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's meant to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming
Or the moment of truth in your lies
When everything feels like the movies
Yeah you bleed just to know you're alive
I couldn´t decide if I should use
or this
... gemeinsam ein Hobby zu teilen.
...together to share a hobby.
Northern Gannets are monogamous and mate for life, very much like albatrosses. Pairs form, and renew their bonds, at the breeding colony, called a gannetry, which may contain thousands of pairs in close proximity to each other. Young birds also return to the colony in their second or third year, forming “clubs” of birds that rest together and begin to learn the local fishing routes. Males begin to claim a breeding site in a colony in their third or fourth year, shaking their head side to side frequently, biting the nest site itself, and stretching the neck toward females that show interest. Clashes between males over nest sites can be intense, with bills locked and much pushing at the cliff edge; injuries are not uncommon. Once partnered, male and female greet each other at the nest site each time they reunite, the males shaking the head, the females offering the nape for the male to nibble. They also engage in so-called “mutual fencing,” wherein they face each other, often touching, calling, shaking heads side to side as their bills clack together, bowing, and finally preening each other’s neck. Both parents care for and feed the young, taking turns on fishing excursions that may last several days. Both sexes defend the nest and chicks aggressively against other gannets, using threat displays such as jabbing with the bill.

Peace and Love Friend Pose by West EndExclusive at Cosmopolitan 5th Anniversary Round! Starting on 7/31
if you love something, love it completely, cherish it,
say it, but most importantly, show it. life is finite
and fragile, and just because something is there one
day, it might not be the next. never take that for
granted.
say what you need to say, then say a little more.
say too much. show too much. love too much.
everything is temporary but love.
love outlives us all. ~ R. Queen
love and appreciate you all my beautiful friends.
wish you a week filled with peace, light and love flowing over.
hugs,
Nadia ♥
We were both young when I first saw you
I close my eyes, and the flashback starts
I'm standing there
On a balcony in summer air
See the lights, see the party, the ball gowns
See you make your way through the crowd
And say, "Hello"
Little did I know
That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles
And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet"
And I was crying on the staircase
Begging you, "Please don't go, " and I said
Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting, all there's left to do is run
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say "Yes"

Crazy Love
Michael Bublé
I can hear her heart beat for a thousand miles
And the heavens open every time she smiles
And when I come to her thats just where I belong
Yet I'm running to her like a rivers song
She gives me love, love, love, love, crazy love
She gives me love, love, love, love, crazy love
She's got a fine sense of humor when I'm feeling low down
And when I come to her when the sun goes down
She takes away my trouble, takes away my grief
Takes away all of my heartache, in the night like a thief
She gives me love, love, love, love, crazy love
She gives me love, love, love, love, crazy love
Crazy love
She gives me love, love, love, love, crazy love
Yes I need her in the daytime
Oh, but I need her in the night
Yes I want to throw my arms around her
Kiss and hug, kiss and hug her tight
And when I'm returning from so far away
She gives me some sweet lovin' brighten up my day
Yes it makes me righteous, it makes me feel whole
And it makes me mellow down to my soul
She gives me love, love, love, love, crazy love
She gives me love, love, love, love, crazy love
She gives me love
I need a love, love, love, love, crazy love
Crazy love, crazy love, crazy love..
