This is a residential area characterized by its scenic roads and natural surroundings. A notable feature of this area is a black asphalt road flanked by bare trees, creating a tranquil and picturesque setting
Another view of the foggy fall scene with leaves falling on both sides of the asphalt road.
I was to busy draining a hot tub and searching for these gorgeous flowers to notice the Eclipse. So “What Eclipse” I ask. If the flowers weren’t so pretty I might have seen history being made. Well maybe next time. Thanks for noticing my flower photo. Gratitude and Kindness happen here as well as anywhere in the Universe.
I was working with this one for another project and figured I'd throw it up here. We are at RF&P's Bryan Park Terminal in Richmond, VA on Sept. 25, 1977 and two sets of SCL power are waiting on the inbound track to be serviced inside the building on the "hot track." All power entered Bryan Park from the south end, but could depart from both ends of the ready tracks. In 1977, L&N power had started to be seen on SCL in Richmond in earnest. Since I had never visited the L&N at that point, they were a treat. The first set consisted of SCL units, a SDP35, a GP7, a U25C, and a GP40. The second set, closest to the photographer, consisted of L&N GP38-2 No. 4053, U25B No. 1601 and GP30 No. 1050. Two months later, I corrected the "never visited the L&N" situation.
