1880 wax sculpture
1920 cast into bronze, with gauze, and satin
This work is one of many posthumous bronze casts completed after a wax sculpture displayed at the sixth Impressionist exhibition in 1881.
The wax figure was the only sculpture that Edgar Degas showed during his lifetime. Degas meticulously created the form of the teenage ballet dancer Marie van Goethem with chin raised and eyes half-closed.
The naturalism of the figure was enhanced by the artist’s use of real materials including a muslin dress and satin bow. The stark realism of Degas’ treatment caused the girl’s facial features to be caricatured by critics at the time as “monkey-like.”

Y porque tentaciones?? Porque esta foto está recién sacada del horno... He ido al super, y cuando he pasado por al lado del parque y he visto el colorido de los árboles, me he dicho, Sarita!! ya que llevas la cámara encima, aprovecha!! Me he hecho caso a mi misma, jajaja, y he estado unos 20 minutos haciendo fotos, así que he llegado a casa llena de fotos y comida!
Este año igual si os aburro con fotos de este estilo!! Recuerdo que el año pasado para estas fechas tenía mi cámara en la SAT, y hasta Navidades no me la devolvieron....

Petita ermita situada uns metres abans d'arribar al nucli de Granollers de la Segarra. La façana oest hi ha l'entrada amb arc adovellat de mig punt, hi porta de fusta. A sobre hi ha una petita obertura, i culmina la façana un campanar de cadireta d'un sol ull.
Al mur sud hi ha una petita obertura a l'extrem dret de la façana. Al mur est no hi ha cap obertura. Davant del mur nord hi trobem el cementiri. Coberta doble que es pot apreciar en el ràfec. És de dues vessants(nord-sud), acabada amb teules.
Al recinte s'hi accedeix un porta metàl·lica envoltada per murs.
Notícies històriques
El lloc surt documentat al 1807, però cal esperar fins al segle XIII per a trobar la primera menció de l'església. Consta els anys 1279 i 1280 en la relació de la dècima papal recaptada a la diòcesi d'Urgell.
