i refolded my lion changing some thing in the mane and shaping differently the head....i used a 64x64 cm square so i could also shape better the feet (i shaped them as in hideo komatsu's wolf)...the tail is really longer than what it could seem from the phtoto...is just for the angle...it is actually as long as the body or maybe even a bit more...
since i managed to enter into the faculty of medicine of the university i'm having some free time and that's why i refolded the lion from bigger paper......i hope to be able to fnish also my lsd...i'm referring it too much
A officer, noncommissioned officers and members of a Saxon
assault unit from Chemnitz gather before a sign we have previously seen. The 1917 date on the reverse suggests that there is plenty of fighting and dying for these mostly youthful lions left in this war.
At Victoria Falls, we had the opportunity to get up close and personal with lions. In "Walk with a Lion" at the Victoria Falls Lion Encounter, we not only got to walk with, but touch several lions who are being raised there as part of a rescue program. The lion population in Africa has decreased by 80-90 percent over the last 20-30 years, and this program is attempting to help in reintroducing the offspring of captive-bred lions back into the wild. The lions are not caged during the walk, and are free to run into the bush if they choose to. This picture was taken from just a few feet away in the open.

id say i did decent on my first attempt at a castle, i have plent more mocs planned!! i hope you guys like it
So a year and a half or so ago, I started a lion MOC for Brickfair 2011. I envisioned a more cartoony lion, something tall and lithe, more along the lines of Scar from Lion King.
I have had a lion MOC I've taken with me to all the cons since that one, but I've never considered it finished. So I took the basic body, and re-did just about everything else, opting to forgo the cartoonishness for something a little more realistically proportioned. It's still a little too pitbull-ish in the chest and front legs, but overall I'm satisfied with it. Even though it's now almost a weird mishmash between my current skillset and style and that from nearly two years ago.
African Lion - Izu
An African lion’s life is all about napping, and resting with short bursts of intense activity, play, clawing at trees, followed by more sleeping that can total up to 21 hours a day! Lions are primarily nocturnal, although seem to be most active at twilight.
The African lion is the only large cat that is social. Lions live in groups which are called prides. All of a pride’s lionesses are related. At Lion camp, the Male is Izu. the two females are Oshana and Mina, and they are sisters.
Lions are the only members of the cat family to display obvious sexual dimorphism – that is, males and females look distinctly different. They also have specialized roles that each gender plays in the pride. For instance, the lioness, is the hunter, while the male Lion stands guard patrolling their territory to defend it from intruders.
Africa's lions are considered to be threatened by their environment because of habitat loss, loss of prey and increased human-lion conflicts, according to The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
