There 's nothing like cool temperatures and fresh air to raise the spirits. during my forays to the Alabama Hills the temperature can get up into the 100's and when they do, this is where I seek refuge. At around 9000 ft in elevation the difference in temperature is about 15 degrees and there nothing better the a fine mist that floats away from the falls right onto your weary soul.
Thanks for taking the time to take a look at my photos, and as always, your views, comments, faves, and support are greatly appreciated!! Have a great Weekend!! :)

Shores of Freedom
We're made out of blood and rust
Looking for someone to trust
Without
A fight
I think that you came too soon
You're the honey and the moon
That lights
Up my night
But right now
Everything you want is wrong,
And right now
All your dreams are waking up,
And right now
I wish that I could follow you
To the shores
Of freedom
Where no one lives
Freedom
Run away tonight
Freedom freedom
Run away
Run away tonight

A BNSF freight crosses the Clark Fork at Paradise, Montana, on September 17, 2006. Leading the eastbound manifest on Montana Rail Link’s Fourth Subdivision is former Santa Fe GE B40-8 No. 8610 in good-looking Heritage I paint.
In der Natur ist alles mit allem verbunden;
alles durchkreuzt sich, alles wechselt mit allem,
alles verändert sich eines in das andere.
Gotthold Ephraim Lessing
In nature everything is connected with everything else;
everything crosses itself, everything changes with everything else,
everything changes one into the other.

The Cross Bay Link is a 1.8 km bridge that connects the Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate and LOHAS Park areas with the Tseung Kwan O – Lam Tin Tunnel. The bridge consists of a road (a dual two-lane carriageway), pedestrian walkways and bicycle lanes. This will help to solve the great demands on traffic in the region.
Tseung Kwan O – Lam Tin Tunnel and Cross Bay Link will be opened on 11 December 2022 at 08:00am.

Montana Rail Link’s LM thunders upgrade behind eight, 20-cylinder locomotives. I only wish I had video and sound on some of the sights west of Livingston, Montana, on this bright day of September 23, 2002.
This one is for Macro Mondays' assignment "inheritance". It is a very small part of a link bracelet I inherited from my beloved grandmother. Unfortunately she died in 1980 of cancer. The bracelet contains several different stones. I am not sure, but I think this is amber.
Have a wonderful Monday everyone and thanks for your views, comments and faves!
