Stow Park Road as it heads towards the village of Stow in West Lindsey, Lincolnshire
Stow dates back to Roman times and in the Anglo-Saxon period was known as Sidnaceaster ("ceaster" meant fortification or camp). It is most notable for the large parish church Stow Minster, it is one of the oldest churches in Britain and originally served as the cathedral for the diocese of Lindsey.
There is evidence of Roman activity within the village, including the discovery of ancient coins, ruins and foundations from this period.
Around 1640 a certain George Clifford, the rector's son, moved from Stow to Amsterdam. His grandson George Clifford III became the assistant of Carl von Linné the Swedish botanist.

So I normally don't post wedding photos and such, but my very-best-favorite-cousin got married a couple weeks ago...and I'm pretty convinced she was the most gorgeous bride at the most goregous wedding ever. I'm so excited for them, I just had to share! They had a real small gathering just outside of Napa, and I was so lucky to have been able to be there to shoot pictures for her.

Being a fan of Lindsey Stirling, a tribute was in order...
I noticed Lindsey at Lyttelton farmers market. It was raining so I'd left my camera in my car but after spotting him I quickly headed back to fetch it.
As I walked back with my camera in hand I planned the shot in my head from how I was going to approach him, where I would position him all the time observing the grey overcast skies to see if there was any light I could use to enhance my shot, hoping that after all of this he would agree to let me capture his portrait. Thankfully he was still sitting talking with his friends outside one of the stalls.
I waited for Lindsey to stop talking and approached him explaining my ongoing project of photographing interesting faces. After showing him other portraits i'd captured his face lit up and he called his wife over to show her before agreeing. As I adjusted my camera setting he pulled out a small pocket comb and began to groom his moustache in the cafe window ensuring it looked perfect, much to the amusement of his wife. We joked about making him famous and he shook my hand wishing me well with my project.
