line this path regularly visited by Marnie and me in Sutton Park. Another name for Lindens is lime trees Here you see them just starting to show their autumn colours - they're huge trees, very old.

Sutton Park is a 2,400 acre National Nature Reserve located 6 miles north of Birmingham city centre in the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield. The Park has been designated as a National Nature Reserve, a Scheduled Ancient Monument and a Site of Special Scientific Interest. I feel so privileged to live only 3 miles from here !

Edited in Topaz Studio and then a lovely texture by Lenabem Anna applied - a double dose as I like this texture a lot !

In the botanical garden of Lodz - linden avenue, or rather its end. It is almost 800 meters high, has over a hundred trees, and is entirely a natural monument. The oldest specimens are about 120 years old.

My Tilia or Linden trees are blooming this week, their heavenly sweet scent has engulfed my backyard.

Today I woke up to the sad news that Linden Labs CEO Ebbe Altberg/Ebbe Linden is dead.

So I went over to the Hill of Crosses @ Verdigris to say a little prayer for Ebbe, his family and the future of Second Life.

The way to this photo so conceivably simple, the photo itself just as simple. However, this photo has a different meaning for me. I am more and more interested in my culture, a culture of the past time. I stand here under the homage hall of the city of Goslar. Unfortunately, I could not create photos in the hall.

Linden-aspen forest on the hills of the Central Russian upland near Pushchino, Moscow region

This shady linden avenue runs through the middle of the Britz estate park directly towards the castle.

Diese Schatten spendende Lindenallee verläuft in der Mitte des Gutsparks Britz direkt auf das Schloss zu.

I find these tiny flowers of the linden tree, called Tilia by the Portuguese, fascinating. The trees are grown in great numbers in Portugal for their dense foliage that provides welcome shade from the burning sun in summer..and they do not require a lot of water to survive..they line the streets of Arganil, near where I live.

I love these viburnums in the Fall

the flowers, leaves and bark of the linden are used to make a tea used for it's calming effect

The tiny, pea-like fruit hangs attached to a ribbon-like, greenish-yellow bract whose apparent purpose is to launch the ripened seed clusters just a little beyond the parent tree.

1930s Stone Gatepost. I quite like the hand chiselled font, rough and ready, a bit like me 😉

Jeden Tag fahre ich an den Linden vorbei, aber hier hab ich mal wieder einen Halt gemacht 😍
