Just gonna stand there and watch me burn
But that's alright, because I like the way it hurts
Just gonna stand there and hear me cry
But that's alright, because I love the way you lie
I love the way you lie...

So lie to me, but do it with sincerity
Make me listen, just for a minute
Make me think there's some truth in it
Come on and lay with me
Come on and lie to me
Tell me you love me
Say I'm the only one

Female Brown Hare lying low despite my close presence, I moved on and left her in peace, a lovely experience..
I'm doing some experimental work here and I not only welcome but I would like any suggestions and comments on this image. I feel there is something lacking in it, but I don't know what.
Part of the monastery established by Christian Monks from around the 4th century (possibly earlier) on Great Skellig Michael which is dedicated to Saint Michael The Archangel and is part of a line of seven monasteries that runs from Ireland to Israel. You can see Little Skellig which lies between Great Skellig and the County Kerry coast in the background.

Snow-filled benches seen on my sub-zero last day of Autumn walk to Waterfront and Bewicke Parks via The Spirit Trail.
These wintry scenes are now a thing of the past since our temperatures have now warmed up to +12C and the recent rains have all but washed away all the snow in low lying coastal areas of North Vancouver. The wonders of Nature never cease to amaze me.
Reclining Buddhas are commonplace in Thailand and also here in Laos.
A reclining Buddha is an image that represents Buddha lying down and is a major iconographic theme in Buddhist art. It represents the historical Buddha during his last illness, about to enter the parinirvana. He is lying on his right side, his head resting on a cushion or relying on his right elbow, supporting his head with his hand.
This pattern seems to have emerged at the same time as other representations of the Buddha in the Greco-Buddhist art of Gandhara.
Hello, my friends! That one shot calls again for the key words such as lavender, field, lying down, bees, awkward, etc.....all in one sentence and describing the scene. Sounds familiar? However, I just couldn't resist posting it because I came away with some of my very favorite images ever from that session :)
Have a great weekend my friends!
The Meteor Crater lies at an elevation of about 1,740 m (5,710 ft) above sea level. It is about 1,200 m (3,900 ft) in diameter, some 170 m deep (570 ft), and is surrounded by a rim that rises 45 m (148 ft) above the surrounding plains. The center of the crater is filled with 210–240 m (690–790 ft) of rubble lying above crater bedrock. One of the interesting features of the crater is its squared-off outline, believed to be caused by existing regional jointing (cracks) in the strata at the impact site.
The object that excavated the crater was a nickel-iron meteorite about 50 meters (160 feet) across. The speed of the impact has been a subject of some debate. Modeling initially suggested that the meteorite struck at up to 20 kilometers per second (45,000 mph) but more recent research suggests the impact was substantially slower, at 12.8 kilometers per second (28,600 mph). It is believed that about half of the impactor's bulk was vaporized during its descent. Impact energy has been estimated at about 10 megatons. The meteorite was mostly vaporized upon impact, leaving little in the crater.
