Keep Lying
Keep Lying to me
Just Keep Lying
Keep Lying to me
Don't go
Fucking with my fantasy
Keep Lying to me
Baby I've known lonely
So let me down now slowly
You know me
Tell me I'm your only
Even if it hurts
Keep Lying
Keep Lying to me
Just Keep Lying
Keep Lying to me
Don't go
Fucking with my fantasy
Keep Lying to me
Tell me a story
Let's make believe
If you're lying I'll listen
Say it through your teeth
Make me a prison
And throw away the key
'Cause I know what I'm missing
It's better than nothing

Mount Hehuan, also called Joy Mountain, is a 3,416-metre-high (11,207 ft) mountain in Central Taiwan. The peak lies on the borders of Nantou and Hualien counties and is located within Taroko National Park. Hehuanshan is a popular destination in central Taiwan. The 3,421-metre east peak and 3,422-metre north peak of Hehuanshan are both higher than the main peak. Mount Hehuan is part of the Central Mountain Range.
The first house was build in the thirteenth century as a hunting lodge used by the counts and dukes of Gelre. The house was named 'Pauwenburcht' (Peacock Castle) because of the white peacocks they kept there. The dukes of Gelre used to wear the feathers on their helmets.
The present house was build in 1905 on the foundations of a house dating from the seventeenth century.
Staverden Castle is build on the foundations of a seventeenth century house.
At the backside of the house lies a small island in a pond. On the the island you can find the tomb of Eleonora. This Eleonora lived at Wildenborgh Castle, one of the eight castles of Vorden. She had a lover, who went on a crusade in the Holy Land. When he was away, another man wanted to gain her by force. When her lover returned home, he was killed by his rival. Eleonora wanted to escape this evil man and fled to Staverden, where a mighty knight lived, who gave her protection. She stayed there for the rest of her unhappy life, always dressed in black.
After her death she was buried on the island in the pond. On moonlit nights, the black lady is seen there, walking to and fro on the island, wringing her hands and lamenting about her lost love.
I haven't been here (Joy Mountains) since our semi lockdown from the middle of May. I'm glad I was here again. Faced this beauty, I thank God and pray.

Located on the Nete river, Lier was settled in the 8th century and developed around the chapel of St. Peter. Lier became an important textile centre in the 14th century. Lier is a French commune that was granted city rites in 1212. It is located in the Flanders region of Northern Belgium. Located on the Nete river, Lier was settled in the 8th century and developed around the chapel of St. Peter. Lier became an important textile centre in the 14th century. It was besieged and taken by the Spanish in 1582, by the Dutch in 1595, and by the English in 1706 during the War of the Spanish Succession. Belgian nationalists resisted a Dutch attack in 1830. Belgium has seen its fair share of war and occupation.
Destruction of Lier occurred as a result of bombing in Antwerp in 1914; however, many of the medieval structures survived including, the Gothic belfry, St. Gommarus’ Church and the béguinage.
I'm doing some experimental work here and I not only welcome but I would like any suggestions and comments on this image. I feel there is something lacking in it, but I don't know what.
I thought I loved you but what I loved was how your presence made me feel. The moments when I felt worthless and yet you made me feel I was worth something. I enjoyed the attention, affection and loyalty. But most of all, I enjoyed that invisible control I realized I had over you. Maybe I did try to love you, but I just couldn't completely, there were shinier stars within my reach. The more flashy type that I preferred over you. Yet, I didn't want to let you go, I wanted to still keep you for myself but I also wanted to have the other.
Was I really so confused? Or perhaps just greedy? Of course not, I knew exactly what I wanted and I took it all...and I will still keep taking it because you allowed me to anyways.
You act like you are strong, you act like it doesn't bother you that I took in another star and still keep you close. How weird is that? But the longer I drag this little game stringing you with me through the sorrows and misery of my journey, the more I realized I am loosing that sweet control over you. Maybe I should have just chose you like I said I would always do...
It's too late now for that...
I watched you turned your head away from me, a small knowing smile forming on your lips as you told me sweetly that you knew all along about my faded lies...
P.S. Wanted to write something different for a change. Thought it would be cool to think from a different perspective...
The perspective of a narcissist. So, watch out!

One morning, there were a handful of leopard frogs who were actively hunting for insects. Behind me was a boardwalk and when anyone walked on it, the frogs totally disappeared and it took some time before they'd resurface. I had hoped to catch one in action, but that day, I was lucky just to capture a frog waiting for its breakfast.
Thank you for your visits and comments, much appreciated. Have a great weekend!
On Manitoulin Island in the village of Kagawong, Ontario lies this 19th century farmhouse come B&B called the Carter House almost directly across from Bridal Veil Falls my reason for visiting the area and to check out Island living on one of the largest lakes in the world, Huron. Life is what you make of it no one else, those waiting for it to be delivered to their door soon discover that the courier often never comes or porch pirates scoop up your opportunities before you even realize they are on your doorstep.
I took this on Sept 20th, 2021 with my D850 and Tamron 24-70 f2.8 G2 Lens at 24mm, 1s, f11 ISO 64 processed in LR, PS +Topaz ,and DXO
