After my LEGO Technic Feller-Buncher I've decided to create one more forest tractor – it's John Deere Skidder 648L. Skidder is a type of heavy vehicle used in a logging operation for pulling cut trees out of a forest. Unfortunately the scale of my skidder differs from the scale of the Feller-Buncher because there are no such a big wheels in Lego. Maximum dimensions: 50x18x22 cm, clearance – 2.5 cm, the weight – 1660 g, the scale 1:19. There are nine PF motors, four IR receivers and one LiPo in my model. We have eight RC functions here.

As manufactured by the Best Company, San Leandro, California, around 1905. Some of these behemoths remain preserved, even operational. Best merged with the Holt Company (known for their tracked vehicles) in 1925, to become Caterpillar.
The Best traction engines are easyly recognized by their three-wheeled design and their upright boiler - the horizontal tank is a water container. Other than that, the design was pretty antiquated for its time, with no brakes, no gear shift, and a top speed of about 4mph.
The most prominent Best engine is "Old Dinah", purchased in 1894 for hauling borax through Death Valley. Today it can bee seen sitting at Furnace Creek, in a pretty desolate state.
Another preserved engine, the very one that inspired me to this build, is nicknamed "Susanpuffer" and can be seen in action here on youtube:

A Bionicle table scrap that looks like the Grime Reaper?!
And, oh so very true, becauase . . .
Drone ants are flying males who only live for about 3-4 days. Their sole purpose in life is to mate with a few Princess ants who will go on to live long lives as Queen ants each with their own colony.
Hey… You’d look like a Grim Reaper too, if you only lived for 4 days!
This creation was originally the result of a self challenge to use-up 'odds & ends' pieces I had laying around after my fembio01 & heBio01 & 02 Bionicle builds, and before I built up a supply of Bionicle pieces.
At the time I built this, I didn't even know that mocers called builds like this, a Table Scrap, nor did I realize that I had used a unique/specialty Bionicle piece.
Can any of you recognize the piece I am talking about?
Yes, it's the . . . Bionicle Mask Ultimate Dume (Mask of Power)
Anyhoo, I removed it from MOCpages on 11/15/13, as I didn't care for the background, and I really didn't care to do any major photo-editing or disassembling of other builds to rebuild this Ant Drone.
It's showing up here on Flickr because I FINALLY got around to doing some background erasing and photo-editing!

It's my MOC - remote controlled Lego Technic Icebreaker. It was my first icebreaking experience so the model isn't too effective. But now I know that it's real and I know how the model can be improved. Propulsion - 2xXL, rudder - 1x9V motor, dimensions: 75x15x33 cm, total weight with batteries and stabilizer – 2480 g. I used RC-unit for comfortable out-door control.

My entry for the LUGNuts 100th (!) Build Challenge.
I chose #72, so I was tasked to build “a 2015 Jaguar F-Type or any Year Porsche 911.” Naturally, I went with the Porsche.
My MOC is based on a 1992 964 Carrera Cup version; basically a lightweight, RWD, Carrera RS version for the States to satisfy the racing scene.
The car is built with a boxer six hanging behind the rear wheels, driving the rear wheels through a four speed manual transmission. The car has full independent suspension, with dual A-arms on the front, and a short/long arm setup on the rear. Steering is done through a HOG gear on the dash, or from the steering wheel. There is one seat for the driver. Installed is a fire extinguisher and a roll cage, just in case. Full OCTAN livery, because some things must be done.
Here you can see the roll cage, and the fire extinguisher.
Finally, this project is done. Features:
-Four Wheel Independent Suspension
-HOG and Steering Wheel
-Flat 6 Engine
-2 Speed Transmission
-Opening Hood, Doors, and Trunk

Model "US Truck T2 MkII" is build with LEGO® in scale 1:17,5 and motorized using LEGO® Power Functions®. This model is not build after a specific brand or type of truck. It represents the well known typical US style truck with classic looks.
The truck features: solid axle suspension on all axles, PF powered driving with power transmitted independently to both rear axles, Ackerman geometry on steering axle, Servo powered steering, fully functional fifth wheel, modeled engine and 3 light units.
Also can you build it yourself. To do so you can buy the building instructions and check the inventory/parts lists!.
The LEGO® Power Functions® Servo is used to enable the steering. Aligned with the trucks chassis the Servo is sitting inside of the cabin right behind the modeled engine in between both seats. With a 90 degrees conversion the motion of the Servo is transferred to the steering axle.
This truck model is powered by a Detroit Diesel DD15 which is revealed with the hood opened. This power source is an inline 6 cylinder engine with a displacement of 906 cu. in. (14.9 L). The horsepower range is from 455 up to 505 HP and this engine has a torque range from 1550 to 1750.
The modeled engine is a small object that really improves the realism of this model. Engine is detailed with for example engine oil dipstick, fan, fan belt, pulleys, hoses, oil filters, turbo, exhaust manifold and so on.
TLC released LEGO® Power Functions® IR Speed Remote Control Unit item number 64227. With this remote control realistic driving and steering would be possible. First build of this model also used an XL Motor to drive but with the use of Power Functions Remote Control Unit item #58122c01. Because of the enormous strength of the XL Motor the drive line was geared down quite a lot. US Truck T2 MkII has less gear reduction and is therefore quite a bid faster then its predecessor. The speed can be regulated by the remote control's dial as can be the angle of the front steered wheels.
