This little ship is my NoVVember build. For those not in the know, NoVVember is a yearly event (in November.. obviously) when builders create Vic Vipers inspired by the starfighters in the Gradius video game series. So I went for a Blacktron themed Viper inspired by the Trident design. I'm sure I got something wrong and it doesn't qualify as a proper Vic Viper but.. meh.
Onyx, or as he is better known, the Immortal. This behemoth is heavily armored and slow moving but will always act first to protect those he is sworn to. The Onyx is equipped with smoke grenades, back mounted and leg mounted mid-range missiles, anti-personal miniguns, and shoulder mounted energy generating shielding. Typically Onyx is seen carrying two large shields or one giant shield and a rifle. The pilot is well versed in earth type magic that he focuses into defensive barriers.

This little something is a memorial in my home town to remember the first finding of salt, the city's reason for great wealth in the middle ages.
Minifig scale version of the V-wing starfighter, with accurate proportions, details, and it can land as it seen in Revenge of the Sith and Battlefront 2 (2017).
Since I finished my very first version of this model, I was constantly updating parts of it. This latest update contains the biggest changes. While it looks quite same to previous versions, with more studless external panel, it has significant changes to the inner structure. It’s almost a new model, rather than another update, as the whole width by 1 stud, which required a lot of rework.
The main goal was to have more sleeker upper panels, as I have keept seeing new, approaches like SNOT by Malen Garek and panel-tile-SNOT hybrid by The last Brickbender
I wanted as thin edges as possible, so I went for the hybrid design, using mainly tiles on plates with overlaping panels, to create the angle. I also separated the rear part of the main panel, at the angle change, to a quite complex SNOT section, which worked out well to have accurate representation of the color scheme.
I the wings, I removed as much studs and antistuds as it was possible with maintaining details and functions. The previous versions all had a fix spacer wedged between the connections of the wings on each side. It’s funcrtion was to keep the wings at the right position in landing mode, but due to that the wings was too much in an angle in flying mode. I designed a new spacer, which can be turned to be able to change of the angle of the wings, but also can be locked in place in landing, to hold the weight of the ship.
The underside also needed a big change, now the angles and details are much more accurate.
I also changed small bits like the guns, but my favorite is the curved tubes on the underside of the cylinders at the wings, which I was able to recreate with black sausage pieces.
I’m really happy whit the this updates and I quite loving this model now.
This is a LEGO model of the famous photo of Dr. Buzz Aldrin (Apollo 11). Notice the helmet reflection of the LEGO lunar lander 10266 and astronaut (Neil Armstrong) minifigure & shadow!
I also made a LEGO model of the NASA ARTEMIS space suit- the next generation spacesuit for the first woman and next man to land and walk on the moon in 2024.
