Constructive criticism appreciated.
This picture was taken during Brick By the Bay 2018. Nothing really else to add other than how this is my favorite picture taken while over there, and how I have been very inactive.
Hello Fellow compatriots to yet another moc! or rather a group of mocs! when building these Toa Hagah i wanted to go for whatever would look cool for these builds in the spirit of the original Toa Hagah sets we got with a variation of shoulder builds but also better articulation which has been hungered over for a long time. Now with these Toa individual they each carry a particular theme. Toa Gaaki is filled with vents for a more aquatic feel while her mask having subtle relationship with the mask of clairvoyance, furthermore i made her left handed. With Toa Boomunga i went with the theme of Rock Raiders, intigrating the brown with the black while adding metallic armor. However since there is already so many colors on him already, i reserved the green for the eyes. being the cool one in the group Kualus is Ice Planet themed personified while being asymmetrical with his metallic armor. But also since his right arm is exposed it allows him to swing his pickaxe more effectively fictionally speaking. Now for my boi Pouks, there is only so much that you can do with Mata brown so i made him a beefcake of muscle with a subtle reference of the Tarakava with the arms. Anyways i hope you enjoy these builds!
After six months of building I finalized my first large scale US truck. As the K100 is one of my favorite trucks I wanted to have such in my collection. I disassembled my old Scania 141 tow trucks and used the bodywork and Holmes 750 for the KW. Fitted with an underlift it make the truck even more versatile. Quite some parts of the model are chrome which my mate Bricksonwheels supplied me. I had to use a lot of unconventional building techniques to get the cab into the right shape. Turning pieces upside down, building things off set etc. and without glueing anything. I already typed the full story for this model on my website. If you would like to see and read more about it, please take a visit: www.dennisbosman.nl/lego/no59.html
1909 pioneer aircraft by Louis Blériot. Used for the first crossing of the English Channel by airplane. First modern monoplane with stick control. Three-cylinder engine designed by Anzani, originally for motorbikes. Lego model incorporates all important features, including stick control for elevator and wing-warping, pedal control for rudder, moving semi-radial engine, and fully suspended landing gear. Wingspan 78cm, 1085 Lego parts.
Mid 1920ies single-cylinder hot bulb tractor. This is the solid rubber tire model used as road traction engine. The motor developes 12hp from one cylinder with 6.5l cubic capacity. The engine can be reversed, and will start in either direction. Preferred fuel is Diesel, but waste oil will do (please, don't try this at home). There's no gearbox, just a differential.
The sound of the piston moving in the big Lego cylinder is pretty close to the sound of the original Lanz!
I revisited the model because, finally, the dish 8x8 (3961) came out in red, which gives pretty exact front wheels.
Lego model of the tracked vehicle that marked the transition from three-wheeled design (as inherited by the C. L. Best traction engines) to the classic "Caterpillar" design of the Holt Co. By 1925, the companies were merged to form Caterpillar Co.
The model features remote control drive and steering by tiller wheel, using a BuWizz receiver.
A young knight who was trained the elemental arts. Twig has spent her entire life preparing to defend the Wind Monastery, deep within the forests of old. She can call upon the wind itself to aid her in battle. They are good friends.
Her ears are very soft, but please don't poke them.

This was an experimental Lego building technique that I've been dying to try. Basically, some sets use uniquely cut sheets for wings, sails, and clothes. I wanted to take this concept to it's logical extreme to see what happens.
I took heavily inspiration from the Forma sets, but I wanted to shake things up and make a fully posable figure. I'm very happy with the result! And the best part is that technically all the connections are legal because they all appear in official sets! I'm a purist, so that's important to me.

She is my first 1:8 scale car and it took me probably 12 hrs to assemble it, but quite enjoyed it :)
Already modified it. The headlights were quite lacking so I changed them. Also I've made some improvements to the doors too.
Also I've made a quick photoshoot with her little sister :D (a Speed Champions moc of mine.)
If you are interested in the modifications here is a free tutorial for them:

A MOC that's been sitting around for absolute ages. Fun to pose and the origin of the head design I'd end up using on Phil.

Smaller steam cylinder and steam chest, added mechanical lubricator. Model is pretty exactly 3/4 inch scale. See my video, too!
I built a LEGO technic version of these well known desk toys. Please check the functionality in the video. You can also watch it on YouTube
Video of Lego model of 1857 steam traction engine, nicknamed "the engine in a wheel". Lego model includes remote control!

This is my version of the BR232 Ludmilla made of LEGO TECHNIC bricks in 1:16.5 scale suitable for the LEGO Technik Trucks.
The locomotive had the premiere at the Bricking Bavaria 2022 exhibition in Fürth this weekend.
With more than 1,2m length and a track of about 10m she could drive a bit back and forth.
When I designed the rails, I made sure that a rail switch could work as well. So I also built a switch.
After a few small weak points, she drove back and forth in exhibition mode.
The interior has only a fake motor so far.
Next year, all the functions will be integrated like:
- running diesel engine
- 3 controllable fan coolers
- fans of the eddy current brakes
- light on the second side
- coupling mechanism to couple and uncouple wagons

The 1924 Targa Florio winner car was a 2 liter, 4 cylinder, super-charged Mercedes, with Chistian Werner at the wheel. This car is an early example of the famous Merceds Compressor series, culminating in the famous SSK and SSKL.
Unlike the usual white livery of the Mercedes racers, this car was actually painted red: Rumour has it this was a camouflage strategy to stop Italian fanatics from throwing rocks at the passing car, because it might be taken for Italian.
In the 1920ies, the race cars were actually driven to the race track on public roads like normal automobiles. For this trip, mudguards and license plates had to be mounted, to comply with traffic regulations. My model is shown in both configurations: as a slick racer, and as a roadworthy automobile.
Lego model with four-cylinder engine, two speed gearbox, differential, leaf spring suspension, steering, and operational hand crank.
