Display "Space Panic" East View
Display made for the french convention "Brick à Dole" 2017. The V2 with a new part "Starship Troopers" was presented to the french convention "Let\'s Go" 2018 in Schiltigheim.
This MOC is a collaborative diorama created with my friend Sweetsha & N3rik.
On this diorama we find the new theme Space Lego but also the Classic Space Lego.
It is intentionally ultra colored, it gives a side very fun :)
There are also many references to the great films of SF, pop culture and it\'s full of humor.
Obviously nothing will happen as planned, Space is going to shit. ^^
Not quite fully accurate to the Apollo LM, but the closest I've come in bricks yet.
Complete with an approximately to-scale Surveyor 3, which I'm quite pleased with.
One of my better efforts at building an enclosing cockpit, I think. Not specifically an NCS build, for all it's got a yellow NCS spaceman as the pilot. Just your average two-pronged-spear-wielding battle mech
🐇 Experiment Number 4 🐇
Ryan the Ravager Rabbit (once called Experiment Number 4) is one fierce mercenary and with the help of his robotic arm and an endless array of explosives can help in any tough situation given the right compensation. Just don't comment on his small size. You don't want to mess with this battle bunny!
Here is a build inspired by a random post I saw on IG one day and is for the monthly challenge build for my RLUG, Sacramento Brick Builders @sac_bb
After much hard work this literally crashed right before the first photo (something some of my fellow AFOLs can relate to). Thankfully I was able to rebuild what was essentially the worst crash I've ever had with a build so if the photos aren't the best, it is because I had to rush to capture what I could just in case. Unfortunately the bunny is not as stable as he was prior to his fall. I must have missed a piece or two to be honest.
Anyway, hope you enjoy this battle bunny build! -Steven

Rocket made for the display "Space Panic" at the french convention Brick à Dole 2017.
The theme of the display being the "Space", it was obvious to make a reference to Tintin and his famous rocket.
Basically, I took the form, the color, the 3 "legs" of the Tintin rocket.
I voluntarily modified the top of the rocket with a cockpit to get close to the spirit "Lego Space"
Minifigs Tintin, Captain Haddock and Snowy are relatively faithful to the comic.
After I built the inverted color scheme version of this fighter, I caught a bit of a repaint bug. Here's the first of several that I've completed. Dark blue and lime. I've had a WIP SHIP on my build table since before my 11 year old son was born... someday, I'll finish that, too.
Rarely descends from orbit, preferring instead to utilize its high-power energy rifle to repress foes on the surface below. Although it almost never has to use them, it is skilled with a pair of durasteel blade as well.

So, uh... white lego model.... on a white background. Yeeeeeah.
Play Well Series Decayed LEGO Minifigure 9: Blue Futuron spaceman. Everyone had a blue spaceman when they were young. If you lived in the suburbs, it was issued to you. It came in the mail with samples of Tide.
Built around the use of the new UCS Galaxy Explorer windscreen element, the pleasingly wedge-shaped Blacktron command shuttle is a hefty brick of a ship, surprisingly underarmed for a Blacktron vessel but carrying more weapons than the equivalent Federation commanders' runabouts.
Built off one of the Speed Racers chassis elements, I'm pleased with how seamlessly the sides and roof elements fit together.
"Will Spaceman Zapp be strong enough to resist the mighty Squidling Ambusher Tank and deadly flying saucer? Defeat Squid general Blork and his minions' evil plans with your ray gun and quick witts in this highly detailed, articulated, tin ensemble!"
---
Of course that is Lego and not tin, but I really wanted to convey the vintage 50s' saucer toy look for this build. This MOC is of course part of Febrovery: every February, lego enthusiasts challenge themselves in this most noble art of making silly space rovers. I also wanted to include the parts from newelementary.com that didn't make the cut for the parts fest at the end of 2019. This build started when I noticed the very subtle angle you can achieve when combining the new slope 49618 with the much older 30022 tipper end.

The Astrosurfer: an atomic-powered intergalactic sports car, accompanied by the hit new space rock band The Highway Stars! This epic futuristic vehicle is detailed and articulated with wheels, rubber tires, hinged doors, reclining seats, and with access to the car’s trunk. On the hood of the car is a metallic minifigure hood ornament, and underneath is a detailed engine. In the rear of the car are two folding jet engines, a set of tailpipes, a spoiler, and an Octan bumper sticker.
Background: this project was initially conceived back in fall 2015, during my long, imaginative train of thought. In late November of 2015, I took some photos of my Futuron minifigs in front of Christmas lights for an artistic bokeh effect. This led me to come up with the idea of taking a group shot of a few spacemen hanging out as friends, accompanied by lyrics from the Ramones song “I Just Want to Have Something to Do.” This soon evolved into the idea of making each of the spacemen as musicians in a fictional band, that was inspired by the music video for the aforementioned song — which starts off with the Ramones playing the song in the back of a car. With this concept in mind, in early December I took a photo of some Futuron minifigs playing instruments in front of Christmas lights. Upon releasing this photo, I was then struck with another bolt of inspiration while watching the music video for Monster Magnet’s “Negasonic Teenage Warhead“: towards the end of the video, the band takes off in a purple classic Buick and flies through space! This idea hit me, and that night I had a dream to build a futuristic space sports car being driven by a rock band — essentially an amalgamation of those videos by the Ramones and Monster Magnet, along with my previous LEGO space photography!
Production for this creation began immediately after Christmas 2015, as I was preoccupied in December with production of my LEGO Nutcrackers and electronic Mega Man sprite. The bulk of this model was completed in the middle of January, but unfortunately I ran into one tiny (yet major) obstacle: I wanted a Classic Space symbol flag for the car’s antenna, however the Collectible Minifigure that contained this particular part wasn’t available in the United States yet. It wasn’t until early February that these figures were available (scarcely) at my local Toys ‘Я’ Us in Whitestone. I felt up all of the packages, and managed to snag the very last astronaut, thus obtaining that seemingly-insignificant flag for the antenna!
The five astronauts are made from authentic Classic Space minifig bodies, hence the noticeable play wear in their insignia. I did however deviate by giving them helmets with color-coordinated visors, as well as contemporary faces. The instruments were from other Collectible Minifigure sets, with the exception of the drum kit. For the car’s design, I initially wanted to build an accurate replica of a 1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air or perhaps a Cadillac Eldorado — but instead, I opted to make an original design of an arbitrary concept. The two-tone color scheme wasn’t intentional: I wanted to make the car solid pink, but had to instead make use with available pieces in the pink/purple color family.

Perseverance is an original sci-fi ship creation and designated as a Battlecruiser. The ship draws inspiration from many sci-fi designs including: the Daedalus (Stargate), Nostromo (Alien), Bengal-class (Wing Comdr/Star Citizen), Truman-class (The Expanse), Pegasus (Battlestar Galactica), Forward onto Dawn (Halo) and many others
Some key design notes:
- Hard sci-fi rules: No shields; ballistic based weapons only(rail guns, missiles/torpedos, and PDCs)
- No artificial gravity, no FTL drive: ship environment is zero G when not accelerating/decelerating; relies on massive accelerating/decelerating chemical rocket engines and maneuvering thrusters distributed around center of weight
- Realistic automation and AI tech level: minimally crewed (200-300 sailors and officers with 100 marines); not a troop carrier and does not carry air wing of “fighters” besides unmanned repair drones and surface shuttles
- Carries and supplies its own battle group of screening ships (2 large destroyers and 3 destroyer escorts); the screeners can all be docked (externally and internally) with the mothership while not in combat to conserve fuel and conceal strength
- Not designed for atmospheric flight: no unnecessary decorative wings or stabilizers
All connections and colors in this build are designed to be buildable with physical bricks. Ship is designed in 1:200 scale.
My end goal and hope is to convey a design that blends “the rule of cool” with a sense of realism and feasibility (i.e a ship that could be built in 5-10 generations). All suggestions and critiques are highly appreciated!
After seeing several floating rock Moc's I desided I wanted to make one eventually. So in Jan 2010 I began planning out what I needed to get in order to create what I was imagining. Construction didn't begin until after the spring semester (early May) it wasn't until end of June did I finally finish it. At brickfair 2010 it was voted "Best biggest space" by those from TLG.
Here is the 3rd moc from our cooperation with Startersets!

It is the answer to whether it’s gonna be a tanker or not among the vehicles😉
Only a base to go to complete the series of builds for this fall and winter
My Instagram:
Sure, the dropship jockeys and switch-fighter aces got all of the credit, but you can't run a Mars mission without resources and recon.
Because apparently I can't just build one rover. Here's a pair of microscale rovers I build for FebRovery. Mars Mission was my childhood space theme (sorry to all of you veteran AFOLs), and so I had to build a little tribute to it. I also managed to fit a small interior in this thing, scaled for microfigs. I'm quite proud of how it turned out!

Benny spaceship made for the display "Space Panic" at the french convention Brick à Dole 2017.
Benny was saying spaceship, spaceship, spaceship... it was time to build him a. A cool and fast spaceship that can raid Kessel in 11 parsecs. ^^
Rear view of the spaceship and its hold.
This spaceship is a reinterpretation of the famous Lego set "Galaxy Explorer" n°928 #Nostalgie
It was made entirely in SNOT in the spirit of "Neo Classic Space"
As in the original version, I kept the cargo hold at the rear of the ship. The ship opens in 2 and cargo can be loaded.
This build is Ice Station Icarus on the planet Krysto, inspired by Ice Planet 2002 but using the range of pieces and building techniques now available.
The colour scheme and styling of this build will hopefully be recognisable to any fan of the original LEGO Ice Planet 2002 sets (1993-1994), though I have broadened the colour scheme ever so slightly for my post-apocalyptic Ice Planet setting.
This build features my previously posted KDF-07 Frost Giant Mech and Surefoot TR3 Rover
Built mostly out of parts from the new Speed Champions Lamborghini (76924) plus the only other olive parts I have (the UFO quarters used for the wings). The highlight of the build for me is the use of Hero Factory weapons as the engine exhaust.
With the Basilisk starfighter, I wanted to try some weapons/loadout variants, like in a SHMUP. This is the level VII, the weapons on the ship are the same as level VI, but it is now accompanied by drones with additional weapons. The one in the original photos looks like it will be level 5. More upgrades to come!

After 3 years of work, hiatus and more work, I'm happy to share my newst model. Inspired by concept art, Mandal Motors designs and Mandal Hypernautics cruisers from Star Wars Legends, this heavy cruiser has a total of 7760 pieces and measures 85x42 cm (33x17 in). It was a fun a challenging build that started back in 2022 and forced me to balance the odd shapes and angles with strong structural integrity and a clean finishing.
I hope you like it! I will be releasing a few more closeups and angles in the next few days as well as Instructions for it at some point down the line so stay tuned!
With the Basilisk starfighter, I wanted to try some weapons/loadout variants, like in a SHMUP. This is the level IV, high caliber, tri-barrel gatling. The one in the original photos looks like it will be level 5. More upgrades to come!
Introducing the first wave of my custom magnifigures of legacy LEGO themes! Here's the classic M:Tron astronaut scientist, with a new articulated upgrade!
Known to the Blacktron Alliance as the "Jackal"-class strike craft, and to their Federation foes simply as the "Raider", this is a manoeuvrable small craft used by the Blacktron for a number of roles, particularly commerce interdiction against Federation trade routes but also escort duties and long-range armed reconnaissance.
The Jackal incorporates only two laser cannons as primary armament, but these are significantly more powerful than the equivalent Federation small craft utilise.
1997’s Robo Stalker, another Mech from the strange RoboForce sub-theme!
I’m kind of a fan of the space robot goblin in striped pants, vaguely reminds me of a Beetlejuice getup? Idk, but I dig it.
This set has some seriously unique space elements and a few familiar. This set stands strong as a part’s pack, but it has enough originality to merit its own existence in any retro space collection
Good consoles for both drivers, great transparent orange elements, and even a cool sticker over the torso windshield
This set has all the prints and printed legs for the minifigs, super deluxe for ‘97
Each pilot of the orange faction of RoboForce shares the same face (previously used in Aquanauts’ sub-theme), which is an odd choice considering how many different elaborate prints were used in these sets
The detachable head/craft is good looking, with that large Exploriens’ element for a cockpit, adjustable wings, and two storage containers
