I remade set 6851 „Tri-Wheeled Tyrax“ for #JbbClassicRemake on Instagram.

I had so much fun upscaling the classic set. Hope you like it.

This one looked better in real life. Oh well ^^

A microscale build of the Spaceship Victory from 승리호 (SPACE SWEEPERS).

I started on this project almost immediately after the movie released internationally, and displayed it in August 2021 at BrickFair Virginia.

At the time I started building this, the only available reference for the ship were screenshots, so I opted to leave out the transformation between its two configurations. Now that better images of the ship are available online... I would probably still build it the same way because the reconfiguration system for the engines is absurd.

A Technic frame with suspension, working steering, 4 wheel drive, double V8 engine, and working flatbed to carry spaceship.

Classic Space grey greebly covering with large cab with big yellow windscreen.

I started a series back in 2018, called Flipover Series. It consist of 3 flipover rovers which have 2 different completely usable sides. The 3 rovers commemorate 6 eras of the old space themes.

This is the first one in the Classic Space / Futuron theme. It's the smallest one. It has the old lego light system.

On the Classic Space side you can access the battery. and can pack cargo on the back, and it's got lights for visibility.

On the Futuron side you have seats for 6 minifigs, 3 cannons and a small compartment for tools.

The cockpit can be rotated with a knob on the back.

Also the rover has 4 wheel steering with a knob in the back for steering. as well.

Another one which didn't cooperate to be photographied ^^

Roberwhal VF-20 is a racing speeder produced by Kuat Vehicles, a subsidiary of Kuat Drive Yards, for team XtreMe Racing to be used in the Unlim class of the Galactic Speeder League. Before season 20 of the League, team principal Lando Calrissian decided to switch from the vehicles built on Kostamir by a small private enterprise to those produced by a large corporation. However, the Kostamirian genius engineer Jean-Christophe Arbousique also took part in the design process. The model's most characteristic feature is the unusual cockpit where driver comfortably lies on his chest, as opposed to sitting straight or nearly straight in other racing vehicles of the League.

Ice Planet 2002... One of my favourite post classic Space Theme :)

I still exist! It has been a long time since I have uploaded anything, though I have been building a fair amount. I get frustrated when I can't get a good photo of a MOC and so I often just don't bother. But then I realised that an OK photo is better than no photo at all, so here we are!

I built this a number of months ago and it has been sitting around on my desk since. You Star Wars EU fans will (hopefully) recognise it pretty quickly, and for those of you who don't this is a Z-95 Headhunter, a small starfighter that was created as an in-universe precurser to the famous X-Wing. My MOC is of the original non-Clone Wars version which I think is vastly superior.

Anyway it's good to upload again, I also have a Vic Viper in the works for this year's Novvember which should hopefully be up before the end of the month. Comments and criticism are welcome as always :)

He can be a bit clumsy at times but he is very strong and already made many places accessible for everyone on mars.

The Lagrange-Lunacorp 82 "Cricket" is a vastly more popular design than its LL286 stablemate. A small, open-cockpit personal rover with adjustable-height suspension, it has proved popular with explorers, prospectors, planetary surveyors and hobbyists alike, and has been produced in 7 separate iterations now.

Though the controls are of a rather unusual keypad type, the Cricket has still proved fairly intuitive to drive; its one drawback being the lack of a passenger seat and the inability to carry any cargo.

Somewhat inspired by the "Bebop" from Cowboy Bebop and terrestrial fishing trawlers.

Part mech, part rover, the Lagrange-Lunacorp 286 Moonskater was one of their least commercially successful designs.

The thinking of the design team was that the design would combine the speed of a traditional rover with the agility of a mech; however, the addition of wheels to the vehicle's feet made the LL286 inherently unstable and it had a reputation for falling over and being difficult to control.

The few that were produced mostly saw service as mechanic-shop utility vehicles used to repair large spaceships and rovers, where their manipulator arms could be used to best effect.

A racing machine for the Galactic Speeder League based on the 75268 snowspeeder. In fact, only some parts are used. I dropped the idea of using the large single-mold base of the set and made it look more like a pimped microfighter.

I have created a nimble reconnaissance space craft based on the Lego Classic Space colorscheme. The model comprises of less than 300 bricks in its current form. This third generation MOC is an asymmetrical build which incorporates a part selection stretching multiple decades. The aim was to create a relatively small set with a modern yet friendly appearance based upon epic heritage. The craft is designed for reconnaissance work but is suffienciently equipped to defend itself if deemed required. It features next level equipment to scan its surroundings. Propulsion is achieved through an anti-matter reactor coupled to a warp drive. Ufonium element 115 is stored in the double armoured fuel tank. The ship contains 2 anti-anti-matter seeking missiles and 4 miniature rocket boosters which remotely attach to medium sized asteroids posing a threat to any minifigure astronaut wandering through the voids of imagination. ;-)

Blacktron attack frigate. Just playing around trying to properly figure out three-dimensional shaping, and this little frigate-y looking mini capital ship took shape. So in honour of Star Wars Day yesterday, have some Imperial SD-inspired Blacktron goodness.

Saw some potential to use up some more of my big pieces and polish up a build I wasnt too happy with. Think this version strikes closer to what I had originally envisioned when I first built this spaceship.

Classic Space: where it all began. Although I intended to use an authentic Classic Space helmet without the visor, the shape of the chin piece prevented me from having the helmet on the shoulders securely. Thus, I chose to use a Futuron dark blue visor, which makes this nifty astronaut magnifigure a hybrid of both vintage LEGO Space sub-themes!

Made a lego model of the astronaut John Young doing the famous Jumping Salute during his mission Apollo 16 in April, 1972.

I also made the latest spacesuit for the Artemis program to go back to the moon in 2024:

Thanks a lot, everyone, for the nice comments on my previous Rovers ! I'll take some time this evening to see what I've missed in the FebRovery pool ;-)

Following the successful 5 seasons of using the mgt360 Coupe model in the Galactic Speeder League (1 championship title, 1 Bescar Cup, 15 race wins) BMW decided to continue the usage of racing speeders based off their road going counterparts. The new one has plasma engines (two main engines and two maneuver engines), a massive front splitter and even more massive rear wing making it the longest speeder of the current field, if not ever.

LEGO Ideas contest entry: ideas.lego.com/challenges/2d3f47a4-66c9-4f41-92ee-87ccc9f...

My submission to an official LEGO contest to showcase music, futurism, and celebrations – thus, this creation encompasses all three. The Moon Rocks are a far-out cosmic rock band with a hypersonic sound totally out of this world!

This is based off a concept I tinkered with in 2015-2016 which featured a fictional LEGO rock band comprised of astronauts, known as The Highway Stars. Only unlike my previous build which depicted the spaceman band traveling in a flying rocket convertible car, this particular new concept features the band performing on a lunar base.

The ground begins with dark grey bricks to give the rocky appearance, which then has a simple structure of light grey to mimic the look of a space station, and uses numerous pipes and tubes for design effect. On the stage you can see the five members, each wearing outfits reminiscent of classic Space minifigures. The audience is a mix of various spacemen from different eras – including M-Tron, Blacktron, Space Police, Uitron, and even a bunch of Mars Mission green aliens. I started working on this in March 2022 and quickly finished the whole project by the beginning of April.

The stage was originally intended to be designed to resemble a giant boombox with cassette player, but instead I utilized the back wall to have a huge JumboTron screen! There weren't many engineering obstacles since the actual base is rather straightforward, but instead the major challenges were obtaining enough 1x1 plates of the proper colors to make the mosaics. The planet earth mosaic was difficult to map out in Photoshop due to my limitations with blue pieces, and I had to use pinks and lavenders instead.

Though I never had the game myself at the time, seeing screenshots or promos of it always sparked my imagination.

A shot of my Ice Planet magnifigure atop a makeshift snow terrain, in front of my celestial matte painting. I took two different takes with the desired pose: the first was without real ice, and the second one used real ice shavings. After I achieved my desired pose and lighting, I grabbed several chunks of ice from my minifridge, then shaved off pieces of icy debris onto the figure. Unfortunately, most of the ice quickly melted upon making contact with the scene, so what you see here is the best take with the most ice unmelted. This was also taken with an ultra wide angle zoom lens, instead of my typical macro.

It was the year 1979 when LEGO launched one of the sets that became among the most iconic in the AFOL world: the 928 set.

The Classic Space theme was launched just a year earlier in 1978 and this set became a legend because it represented the most beautiful and largest spaceship in the entire fleet. It is incredible to think of the success that this set of only 338 pieces has had if we compare it to those on sale today, but in those days we were children who dreamed of having this box and our best memories are linked to it.

In '79 I was just 5 years old and I have never been able to have this box, too expensive for my parents, but I have always dreamed of it looking at it in the catalogs. Finally as an adult I looked for it and managed to buy it!

All this premise was used to introduce my new work: the Galaxy Explorer SDR-926! This year I am 10 years old as AFOL and I thought about making mocs that have a special meaning for me. The first of these was the desire to make a spaceship of some importance! SDR-926 wants to be a tribute to the 928 but with very different characteristics and numbers. Number 926 represents the birth of my daughter. The spaceship measures 85 x 75 x 21 cm and is made up of almost 4600 pieces! It took me 5 intense months to make it because it contains several features and functionalities in a single work.

Thank you for watching!

Possibly my favourite of the later Classic Space ground vehicles, the 6950 Mobile Rocket Transport perfectly combines the practical near-future explorer vibe of the very first generation of Space sets with the (mostly) more advanced aesthetic sensibilities of the later sets.

I just *had* to try an updated version.

Numerous other people have built excellent updates of this great set, many of which are far superior to mine, but I'm pleased with my efforts regardless.

Actually the "prototype" of the Rover #1.
