An overview of my latest creation, built to display at Bricking Bavaria, a LEGO convention in Germany. It ended up winning the main award, which I’m proud of. Besides the fact that it was built in under 2 weeks there’s not much I want to say about the build. I think it speaks for itself, or at least it speaks to everyone in a different way. At the death of winter, the locals celebrate the return of longer days with a Lantern Festival. As the lanterns float down the river, if you look just right, locals swear you may just see a Spirit of Spring trotting above the water, bringing the flowers to bloom.

Had the idea of creating this for a while now, however it took much longer to bring it all together and create what I had imagined in my head. Being that I don't do a lot of human figures getting the body shape to look real was a little tricky, along with creating the headdress.
Details info
-The face paint is if i remember correctly a Jurassic World sticker that I cut to fit his face.
-The Beaded chest piece is cut flex tubing that is being held together by LEGO string.
- The headdress is shaped with flex tubes, and the small tank treads. With braided string to hold down the red flags.
-For those of you that don't know the fur pieces are old duplo accessories.

The sculpture is 19.3" wide x 11.8" deep x 21.6" high (49cm x 30cm x 55cm) and is made from around 3,000 bricks.

Awe inspiring massive builds on exhibition from BrickLive at the Naples Zoo
Some seriously impressive large stacked LEGO and DUPLO sculptures are on display, along with some awesome animals doing their thing at the zoo
Glad I got to check these builds out on a perfect day before they move on to their next stop. The amount of sun damage to them has to be insane, I wonder if they’re sealed in some UV coating?

Born from the embers of a burning forest, She seeks to hunt those responsible for destroying her homeland.
Mewtwo strikes back! Mewtwo is a legendary Pokémon artificially created from the genes of Mew. Known as the Genetic Pokemon, it possesses powerful psychic abilities. It is designed to be a vicious, unyielding fighter whose creators failed to endow it with a compassionate heart. While normally Mewtwo has a purple tail and eyes, a rare shiny Mewtwo is lime green instead. It is also a playable character in the Super Smash Brothers series, and is one of my personal favorite fighters.
I built this a couple of years ago with the goal of greatly improving my old Mewtwo MOC from 2015. It's larger, its pose is better, its shaping is better, I'm overall much more proud of this model. I chose this scale after deciding on a good design for the hand, and basing everything else on that. I chose to make it shiny because I have many more lime green pieces than purple. Another improvement on my old design is that it stands in an environment surrounded by stalagmites, giving the impression it is preparing for a battle against a trainer in Cerulean Cave, where Mewtwo can be found in the Kanto region.

To end this wave of Adventure Time creations I’ve got something special specifically made for Atlanta Brick Con in February which was a tremendous hit among the public.
🎥 An additional reel coming soon will show the build process behind the creation, but generally the inspiration and main piece was the electronically working BMO using an iPhone screen to bring this to life. Further elements like the flower box, pots with plant life and other varying elements were brought in later to spruce up the surroundings.
🤔 What do you think? I’ll tell you this, it was fun to work somewhat out of my comfort zone and tinker on something sculpture like for once. And of course anything Adventure Time is going to speak out to me.

Visiting Diwntown Disney we came across this great Lego creation of Snow White & her 7 Dwarfs...my Mom was always in love with Dopey so we couldn't pass this photo op by!

Winged Victory of Samothrace (aka Nike of Samothrace) was found in 1853 on the Greek island of Samothraki.
To honor the ancient artist(s) who carved this most-celebrated sculpture out of Rhodian marble, this LEGO version was made, measuring 14 x 18 x 24 cm / 5.5 x 7 x 9.5” (W x L x H).
The details of curvy contour, wavy skirt, upper torso leaning forward, and others were depicted in the 526 bricks.
