To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers today on December 18th, me and other talented LOTR builders have come together to build a scene each from the movie to honor Peter Jackson and his teams’ faultless on-screen adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s book.

Like last year, we have built 20x20 vignettes, and I just had to choose to build a scene in Rohan. 4 years after I built the Golden Hall of Meduseld, I wanted to give the interior a go and this was a perfect opportunity. The scene depicts Gandalf the White and The Three Hunters arriving in Edoras to free King Theoden from the shackles of Sarumann (March 2nd, 3019 TA). It's not my best work, as I had to build this the last 24 hours. I especially like Theoden's throne. Hope you like the MOC! (The value of the figures in this MOC is about €300)

A MOC I built about 5 years ago: An interpretation of the Prancing Pony.

Unfortunately not well photographed, and meanwhile disassembled.

Maybe you like it anyway 😉

Finally the ents have found the ent wifes. Pippin and Merry are his best friends.

My entry for Summer Joust 2022 - Bridging the Gap category.

Inspired by the assaults on Lothlorien during the war of the ring. The build is not depicting any particular scene from the books, but just trying to capture a mixture of Peter Jacksons darker style, mixed with the classic 1978 cartoon.

You haven’t changed

The Dark Lord of Mordor in the heart of Mount Doom.

This build was created for Summer Joust's Silhouette Category as well as MELO's Evil category. The total depth is 4 bricks and 1 stud thick.

Built for round 2 of MELO where the prompt was to make a 16x16 vignette that represents one of the free people of Middle Earth. I got the Dwarves category. So I was thinking, what defines the Dwarves? The result ended up being a cave that features digging, mithril, blacksmith, dwarven weapons and architecture (namely Erebor) and the arkenstone. This build was a bit of a challenge. First, I knew I was gonna be away for most of the tournament so this had to be done in the first 1,5 days which definitely got stressful. Second, I realized I had much less sand green than I thought, and there was no time for BrickLink orders. But with all things considered, I'm happy with the end results!

To celebrate the theatrical release of the first Lord of the Rings movie, the Fellowship of the Ring, which came out 20 years ago today, myself and 7 other talented Lord of the Rings builders decided to build iconic scenes in the form of 20x20 vignettes from the movie.

I chose a scene from the prologue to the movie, where Isildur is ambushed by orcs near the Gladden Fields on his way to give the One Ring to Elrond in Rivendell, and loses the Ring as well as his life in the ensuing chaos. I tried to show an underwater scene effectively, and I hope it captures the emotion and grittiness from the scene in the movie well.

This is my first build and post in a while too, so hello again everyone! I'm still alive and into LEGO :)

Maranatha!

Drums... Drums in the deep... They are coming.

This was built for the second round of MELO where we were tasked with recreating an LOTR Lego Set.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring today on December 19th, me and other talented LOTR builders have come together to build a scene each from the movie to honor Peter Jackson and his teams’ faultless on-screen adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s book.

We decided to build 20x20 vignettes. I chose a scene which depicts the breaking of the Fellowship in Parth Galen at the peak of Amon Hen by the Seat of Seeing, with Sarumann’s band of Uruk-Hai attacking Aragorn trying to capture Frodo and the ring. This happened February 26th in the year TA3019.

As you can see the stone structure is considerably downscaled to fit the 20x20 scene, but I feel like I did well with the space I had at my disposal. It was especially fun to build the stone animal-statues, and incorporate the string net into the build. Hope you like it!

I've (finally) recovered from the trauma of Iron Builder and have made this Laketown model for Brickscalibur and CCC, which, thankfully, doesn't contain any 3 x 5 solar panel / deltoids with clip in white! There's also a few little Tolkien Easter Eggs, so be sure to look out for those too ...

“The Lieutenant of the Tower of Barad-dĂ»r he was, and his name is remembered in no tale; for he himself had forgotten it, and he said: 'I am the Mouth of Sauron.'”

― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Return of the King

I loved this character in the Return of the King (Extended edition). I think his costume design was pure genius. I did my best to recreate the iconic helmet and that enchanting smile 😁

Hope you enjoy!

"In a hole in the ground, there lived a hobbit..."

and you know the rest.

I am very excited to present my entirely-rebuilt model, this time in real bricks and properly photographed! (please excuse my novice photoshop skills) It has been much too long in the works.

Next up are instructions!

I have yet to format about 80% of the pages. And I'm currently in school, so this may have to wait some time.

Stay tuned.

Again, we have to defend Osgiliath. For Gondor!

Hi,

Today I come to you with my newest creation which shows you the beginning of the famous adventure of Bilbo Baggins who’ll soon join a Thorin’s companion and wander through the Middle-earth to reach the mighty Erebor and free the mountain from the evil Smaug.

I built this MOC to finally use one of my Middle-earth’s mini figures and also show my love and respect to the books, movies and author of all Middle-earth’s works, J.R.R. Tolkien.

For me this scene from the first Hobbit movie represents my mood when I’m again starting my fantasy adventure with any of the Tolkien’s or Jackson’s works of art.

Lighting of the Beacons-scene from Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. Hope you like it!

The Buckleberry Ferry is a raft-ferry at the main crossing point of the river Brandywine from The Shire to Buckland in Bree-land. Some miles east lies of the Village of Bree, the chief-village of Bree-land, a small wooded region near the intersection of the main north-south and east-west routes through Eriador. This is the only area in Middle-earth where men, dwarves, and hobbits dwell side by side.

After 4-5 months of work it was finally completed last weekend where it was displayed, at PKH 2018. Me and my collaborator, Northern LEGO, are unbelievably proud of the result and the collab was a huge success. Hope you all like it, and let us know what you think!

"but at the last the siege was so strait that Sauron himself came forth; and he wrestled with Gil-galad and Elendil, and they both were slain, and the sword of Elendil broke under him as he fell..."-Of the Rings of Power and the Third Age, the Silmarillion

Hope you enjoy this model😃! It took quite a lot of time to find a good combination of pieces.

I decided to use pearl dark grey as the main color for the iconic armor. I also wanted to include a simple stand with shreds of Narsil, the spear of elven king Gil-galad and the skull of Elendil, defeated by Sauron.

The figure has posable limbs and rotating head. This time I decided to build the cape elements with Lego pieces to make it easier to recreate. I will however include a template in case you would prefer to use cloth.

Year 1697-1700 of the Second Age - The Siege of Imladris

Following the devastating assault on Eregion, caused by Sauron and his minions, Elrond fled to Imladris, or Rivendell, a valley north of the Misty Mountains. Knowing that Elrond would try to ambush him from behind, Sauron sent a small force of orcs to Rivendell to end lay waste to the refuge. Elrond, along with the remaining forces of Eregion and the Elves of Lindon. The elves eventually destroyed their enemies, and managed to crush Sauron's forces along with a great host of Numenoreans, ending the War of the Elves and Sauron at the Battle of the GwathlĂł. When the war ended, Eregion was gone, and most of Eriador destroyed.

NOT a part of the Second Age collab.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of "the Fellowship of the Ring" we have made a collection of 20x20 builds depicting iconic scenes from the movie. My build shows the scene where the hobbits hide from a ringwraith. Make sure to check out the other builds at the tagged users .

Home of the dark lord Sauron.

I built this for an LOTR Lug collab where we built microscale locations in Middle Earth

I'm on the vacation now and of course took with myself some of my favorite minifigs) Galadriel was always one of my favorite lego figures ever❀

"Helm's Deep has but one weakness. It's outer wall is solid rock except for a small culvert in space, which is little more than a drain. If the wall is breached, Helm's Deep will fall."

Helm's Deep is finished!

One of my best MOCs ever, It's not the most accurate Helm's Deep you'll see in terms of length, but I wanted to include both rockwork and the wall breach, and I think that turned out great. A lot of action, including a surfing Legolas!

Hope you like!

He want something more modern

More than a year ago, I had set my mind on creating a massive MOC that some of you may have actually seen in real life. 'The City of AndarstrƓm' was on display at Bricking Bavaria 2022 but never made it to a greater audience as I was not satisfied with the outcome. It was rushed. It was too much. It just wasn't what I had in mind.

For the past few months, I spent every spare minute life has to offer to break the scene apart and reinterprete it all. The outcome are four individual glimpses at what could be a fictional Rivendell-inspired city.

Hope you enjoy and take some time to make up stories for these scenes! Feel free to get carried away in the comments!

I must thank Marcel for giving such a great companion in the process and seeing the little details I would always miss. Love also goes to Rolli for being so supportive, excited and inspiring. You guys are the best!

Here is a first look at the largest Lord of the Rings build I've done so far. The final overview will be up soon. Are you excited? What is your favorite Middle-Earth quote of all time?

"Le jour est enfin venu, dit il : le jour du choix que nous avons longtemps différé. Que va t-il advenir de notre Communauté ?"

Assemblée pour le @randomtolkienchallenge, cette petite création faite en 3 heures (et un peu plus) représente le moment du choix de Frodon, aux chutes de Rauros.

L’occasion pour moi d’essayer quelques nouvelles couleurs comme le Dark Green ou le Dark Orange.

"The Rohirrim were a horse people of the land of Rohan, which was named after them. Horses were an important aspect of everyday life of the people of Rohan. The Rohirrim were also known as the Soldiers of Rohan, Riders of Rohan and Riders of the Mark. During the War of the Ring, they were ruled by

Théoden King."

My newest batch of Rohirrim, with lots of custom work all around. This is the first batch of Rohirrim I've posted since 2012.

The one in the middle has a fully custom sculpted head & beard piece and could be either a soldier or a commander of some kind, but I'm planning on posting a standalone picture of him, soon.

Hope you enjoy, C&C is welcome as always,

and please - comment if you fave, I'd appreciate it.

From left to right:

#1 - Legs partially painted, arms and head painted, custom Rohirric cape and a custom (modified) helmet.

#2 - Legs, torso and head painted, custom cape.

#3 - Custom, fully sculpted helmet & beard, painted torso, legs and shield, and custom cape.

#4 - Custom (modified) helmet, with painted legs, shield and arms, and custom cape.

#5 - Painted helmet, shield, head and slightly painted legs, with custom cape.

"The Great Gate in the City wall was at the east point of the circuit, but the next faced half south, and the third half north, and so to and fro upwards."

â–ȘThe Great Gate of Minas Tirithâ–Ș

You are looking at the tenth part of The Third Age-Journey Through Middle Earth Collaboration! I built the main gate of Minas Tirith to minifigure scale and to a level of detail not seen before in other builds of this online. I really enjoyed building this over the course of a couple weeks, and especially making all the minifigures for it! This MOC will be refined and added on to during Christmas break this year, so this is not a completely finished product!

Osgiliath used to be the capital of Gondor And its largest and most important city before Minas Tirith. At the height of Gondor's power the city was a reflection of the splendour of NĂșmenor's cities, but this was not to last.

A gondor civil war and a Great Plague depopulated the city. It began to fall into ruin so the King's House was moved to Minas Tirith. This leads Osgiliath to become vulnerable to attack and was widely believed to be haunted, as its population continued to shrink. It was finally abandoned by the remaining civilian population after being overrunned by Uruk-hai.

Even if Gondor took the city back before “The Return of the King” events, Gondor did not rebuild the city even partially at this time: they just put a military garrison to prevent the crossing of the Anduin which failed as the city fell to Sauron's forces!

This scene is depecting Faramir scouting the city in order to prepare its defence. But he is stopping and admiring the foutain, wondering how great the city was at its peak!
