IE is everywhere.
Here's the classic Internet Explorer "page cannot be displayed" error message, as displayed on the big electronic billboard at the East Palo Alto Ikea store.
For you non-IE users, it reads "The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings,"
The brightness of this image or something made the display jumpy, which is why it's hard to read. Other ads (the ones that actually loaded :-) displayed fine.
My favorite part: the scroll bar at the bottom.
"Vancouver Novel" by João Loureiro, of São Paulo, Brazil, one of the permanent Vancouver Biennale installations, is located at 3474 Point Grey Road.
The installation features an LED screen in front of a house with a hedge – a ubiquitous Vancouver landscape feature for single family houses that marks the physical boundary between public and private space.
Situated in one of Vancouver’s most exclusive waterfront neighbourhoods, the installation cycles through a series of 29 sentences (6 new sentences added in 2021), which weave a poignant narrative of daily life.
Inspired by the Vancouver Biennale’s 2014-2016 exhibition theme “Open Borders/Crossroads Vancouver,” João Loureiro created Vancouver Novel to explore the shifting boundaries between public and private life in an era marked by social media and reality TV.
The snippets of domesticity, slipping by turns banal and ominous, underscore our ever-growing appetite for updated information and continuous content.
Intensely personal and yet broadcast for the world to see, Vancouver Novel asks us to consider the narrowing chasm between our public and private lives.

Merry Christmas, May have gone overboard this year, using this old Bright Tech Developments Bus Display. But the Blue, Red and Orange LED's go together very well.
Merry Christmas (Happy Winter Holidays or Summer Holidays if your Down Under) from the admins of Light Creations Group FlickR.
This is my Bright-Tech ex bus display. L.E.D. Front, Bright Dot Side and Power Roller Rear.
The Display has now Hinckleybus/Arriva programed in to it, for my next YouTube video. youtu.be/B6uVeYh9sDQ
Many years ago Arriva used Bright-Tech Displays before changing to Hanover Displays.
the original neon sign that blazed 24 hours a day over college street was replaced with a "sympathetic" l.e.d. copy in 2016. i say sympathetic as the script is smaller than the original.

On April 20, 2019, I visited Mulberry, Florida in Bone Valley, which is part of the Phosphate Mining Region of Central Florida (aka: Polk, Hillsborough, Manatee and Hardee Counties) are/were all rich in Phosphate Ore.
First, I visited the Phosphate Museum, located at the Corner of State Road 37 (aka: S. Church Ave.) and SE 1st Street, one block South of State Road 60 (Canal Street). The Mailing Address is:
101 SE 1st Street
Mulberry, FL 33860
Later I Photographed the Mulberry City Hall along State Road 37 (aka: S. Church Ave.) between SR 60 and SE 1st Street. The Mulberry City Hall Mailing Address is:
104 South Church Avenue
Mulberry, Florida 33860
These Four Photographs show the Mulberry City Hall and a Mural Painted on one side of the building. Mulberry was in the heart of the Phosphate Mining Mining Region until the depletion of Ore caused mining to move further South and East.

This is a shot of the famous CITGO sign that sits near Fenway Park, the home of Major League Baseball's Boston Red Sox. The sign has a very interesting history and is considered one of the iconic landmarks of the Boston skyline.
That is the Harvard Bridge in the foreground with the red streaks from the moving traffic on top of it.
Have a look at it large, and the details and lights on the buildings really show up.

An eyecatching way to advertise a shop for lease. This is where the Crumpler bag shop in Melbourne once stood, now cleared and illuminated by this rather fascinating sign.

The Glico Running Man sign is an iconic symbol of Osaka, Japan, located in the Dotonbori district. First installed in 1935, this massive neon billboard has undergone several updates to reflect the evolving times. It features a triumphant runner crossing a finish line, symbolizing health and energy, aligning with the Glico confectionery company's ethos. The vivid LED lights illuminate the figure, adding a dynamic visual to the urban landscape at night. Situated above the Dotonbori Canal, the sign is a favorite backdrop for photos, with its bright colors reflecting on the water below. The current version, updated in 2014, showcases state-of-the-art LED technology while retaining the original design's timeless appeal. The surrounding area is lined with similarly eye-catching advertisements, creating a unique visual experience that defines the neighborhood's aesthetic. The Glico sign remains a cherished part of Osaka's cultural identity, drawing visitors eager to capture its glow and significance.

On March 8, 2018, I went to the Strawberry Festival to view the colorful lights and to get a large scoop your own Strawberry Short Cake at the Booth that St. Clements Roman Catholic Church Runs every year in the Stone Building near the Lost & Found Caboose.
This Photograph shows some of the Food Joints and other Vendors at the 2018 Strawberry Festival.
Apparently, Belle City Amusements is the prime Carnival Contractor and they supply most of the Rides, Games and Food Joints on the Carnival Midway. The Strawberry Festival had a vast number of Rides and Food Joints and I'm sure Bell City Subcontracted other Carnival Vendors to fill the venue; either that, or the Strawberry Festival Board itself hires other Carnival Vendors to supply Rides, Games & Food Vendors
