This desk lamp has been the illumination for many phots shoots. Finally i gets to be the subject.
This desk lamp is many years old and started as a halogen bulb. They got very hot and when the last one burned out I found this LED bulb that is a close enough fit as a replacement. It came as a two pack, who knows when I will need to replace this one.
Aproximately 1 inch in length.

I have wanted a lamp with one of these glass heads for a long time. I found the teal coloured head at an antique shop in NC. I bought all the components for wiring a lamp at Lowe’s. Bought the two wooden ‘books’ at a craft store and assembled it this afternoon. Using an LED bulb will keep it from getting hot inside the head. I’m really thrilled with the way it turned out. This is not its permanent place......it will be used in the Harry Potter themed room when I manage to get it decorated.
As tired as I am, this took my mind off of crap and it was relaxing to put together. I’m a woman with tools and I know how to use them, lol.
