My breakfast today: Turkish yoghurt mixed with raspberries, shredded coconut and sunflower seeds.

Meatballs with tomato sauce and seaweed noodles.

Salad: Spinach, bell pepper, red onion, basilica with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Sunday dinner.

Low-carbohydrate, healthy fat chocolate chip cookies - no refined grains, no added sugar, no industrial vegetable oils

Treated myself to this delightful dish, so friggin' good!!

 

Pan seared rib-eye covered with gorgonzola cheese, laying on a bed of fresh baby spinach (with horseradish on the side:-)

 

Keto info: LCHF for beginners

Meat is a nutrient-dense food, part of a heatlhy diet, and contributes to overall metabolic health, especially compared to ultra-processed foods typically consumed in the Standard American Diet (SAD).

Red meat is a part of a healthy diet.

 

A recent JACC state-of-the-art review concluded that saturated fat consumed in unprocessed meat is not associated with CVD or diabetes, the end.

 

Myth: Meat is an environmental disaster

Reality: Diabetes and heart disease are enivornmental armaggedons

 

To combat climate change, we need to reduce or eliminate fossil fuel use and source our food ethically and sustainably. Healthy people and healthy planet, not one or the other.

Chicken breast fried in coconut oil

Steamed veggies

A spinach salad with goat and gouda cheese, avocado and ranch dressing, doled up with croutons made of hot & spicy pork rinds!

 

I'm down 30 lbs down eating like this, so cool!
