Two young men after throwing some hoops stopped to take n the sunset at the well documented basket ball court near the Korean Bell in the San Pero area of Los Angeles!

Besides myself and many other photographers, this basket ball court has been in numerous movies, television programs, as well as print advertisements !

A bold and very painterly sunset for the Winter Solstice, as wel as the Great Conjunction at the same time. As seen from the cliffs in the Southern most section of Los Angeles!

As I was heading back to Venice Blvd, this man was quickly walking by me, quickly took the shot and continued on!

From the hills of the Rancho Palos Verdes Peninsula, the tip of Los Angeles, a gorgeous varied purple and pinkish hued sunset after a day of hard rain!

She was losing no time as she passed by me with a smile, during the first days out from being quarantined, Covid19 days!

Looking up as I walked under the famous Sixth Street Bridge that connected E. Los Angeles to what is now know as the Arts District of down town LA. Days before the tearing down of this historic bridge.

Another storm approaches the cliffs at the southern most part of Los Angeles, with Santa Catalina Island in the distance!

A rare scene is an empty self serve car wash within the city of LA, a city that prides itself in car culture !

What attracted me to take this shot was not the man at the end of the La Brea exit of the 10 Freeway, it was the vibrancy of the colors within the scene! His sign, the litter on the ground, the tagged sign etc...! A desolate area washed in colors and afternoon light! More or less the beauty of urban decay!

On a lazy afternoon this couple drove his chopped and totally customized Ford to the edge of the LA River . While he discussed his car with the people around in addition to checking their cars, she just sat and contemplated the day.

Like many people today they are addicted to their devices, as this woman was fascinated with what ever was on her screen as opposed to the the sunset!
