I love the simplicity of these bare flower heads, dancing to the late Autumn breeze.

On my way to an appointment, I noticed the last two rows in this corn field were swaying with the wind. I'm not sure why, but I stopped and took this pic - then on my way back home... they were gone. I guess the message is dance while you can! : )

The shadows of the grass laden with dew are cast on a leaf with a bokeh frame. The leaves are falling early this year. This one has found it's way to the ground signifying it's last dance unless the wind finds it. #shadows #leaf #autumn #red #nature #Natur #ombres #影 #Shatten #bokeh #plants #Pflanzen #plantes #rot #rouge

I don't understand this practice of throwing shoes over power lines. Never mind, it makes for an interesting photograph, especially when one pair is inscribed with "Dance".

Our Daily Challenge:Tracks

I have been Told that after ten days, you are unlikely to be contagious. Today is day 11 in my COVID odyssey. I tested this morning, and my test read as a very faint positive. I ventured downstairs, social distancing from Tom a d Mom, and wearing a mask when we are near. I found the remnants of the bouquet of flowers that Tom gave me rebore I became sick.

A surreal love story about a girl whose lover passes away without having the chance to say goodbye, but somehow (perhaps in a dream) they reunite so they can dance one more waltz.

It's actually up to the viewer's interpretation is doesn't necessarily have to represent a lover, but any loved one who is not longer with us.

This is actually an image I had in my mind for a very long time, and it's inspired by those kind of dreams people sometimes have with a departed loved one where they are aware it's a dream and that the loved one is not alive, yet they feel every moment of it as if it was absolutely real.

'm so glad you came

I'm so glad you remembered

The walking through walls in the heart of December

The blindness of happiness

Of falling down laughing

And I really believed that this time was forever

Which by the way, is my desert island album, hands down.

Saw those today on a car, most were dead, this one was dying. A friend told me they are called ‘shot fly’ and they live only one day… what a life :).

Any one can tell me more? Thanks.

Mayfly

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mayflies are insects which belong to the Order Ephemeroptera (from the Greek ephemeros = "short-lived", pteron = "wing", referring to the short life span of adults). They have been placed into an ancient group of insects termed the Paleoptera, which also contains the dragonflies and damselflies. They are aquatic insects whose immature stage (called naiad or, colloquially, nymph) usually lasts one year in fresh water. The adults are short-lived, from a few hours to a few days depending on the species. About 2,500 species are known worldwide, including about 630 species in North America. Common names for mayflies include "dayfly", "shadfly", "Green Bay Flies", "Canadian soldier", and "fishfly"

Moondance

Well, its a marvelous night for a moondance.

With the stars up above in your eyes.

A fantabulous night to make romance

'neath the cover of October skies.

And all the leaves on the trees are fallin

to the sound of the breezes that blow.

And I'm trying to please to the callin

of your heart strings that play soft and low.

And all the nights magic seems to whisper and hush.

And all the soft moonlight seems to shine in your blush.

Can I just have one more moondance with you...my love?

Can I just make some more romance with you...my love?

Well I wanna make love to you tonight.

I cant wait till the morning has come.

And I know now the time is just right.

And straight into my arms you will run.

And when you come my heart will be waiting.

To make sure that your never alone.

There and then all my dreams will come true dear.

There and then I will make you my own.

And everytime I touch you you just tremble inside.

And I know how much you want me that you can't hide.

Can I just have one more moondance with you...my love.

Can I just make some more romance with you...my love.
