Shot on iPhone 13 Pro.
We met this retired couple from Victoria who were doing "a lap" in their retirement (translation for non-Australians - driving around Australia). They decided it was far too cold for them to get in the water. They were probably right, but this is Twilight beach at Esperance which is often called one of Australia's best beaches - and we sucked it up and went it. The water was fresh but beautiful. I could live in Esperance - I would just need a wet suit.
My son took me for a beautiful walk in a little park near their home,,,, pure nature all around us,,, we walked a mile around a pond ,,,, it had sevral of these walkways,,,,wishing all of you a good day and thanks for your visits,,,,,
Here's one from a remarkable evening hike taken from the summit of Beinn na Lap in March 2018. It was particularly cold but as can be seen the views were out of this world.
Although I had the DSLR with me, at this point I hadn't mastered the photo-stitch process so this was a panorama taken one the iPhone.

It's been a while since I've seen the wolves. Today, they were playing enthusiastically. This one stopped in the pond for a drink.
Breakfast is Pumpkin's favorite time to join us. Sometimes it gets frustrating because he makes it difficult to eat. He doesn't want the food, he just wants to be involved in, you know, everything. (Unless it's strawberries, or select fruit, then he will sniff.)
A flock of Northern Lapwing (Vanellus vanellus), birds I'd normally see up on the moors in the Yorkshire Dales during summer. Also known as Peewits after their distinctive call.
Have a wonderful day everyone!!!

My dog Oscar always drinks from this stream on our walks together. A small bridge gives me a great vantage point. Fuji x100, lightroom, Silver Efex pro
Today I thought I'd focus on my lavender plants and see what the bees were up to... they were rather busy!
This building had lower ceilings, more windows and worse drainage than the others. But here too, the equipment was stripped away, making it hard to guess what purpose the space served.
The train rides at the Colorado Railroad Museum are not anything close to long distance, but they make the most of the space they have. The narrow gauge loop around their property is a nice little trip, featuring a short but steep grade. The trains usually make 4 circuits around the loop at a time. RGS #20 is seen looping around the back of the museum on lap 3.
