Looking down onto Church Lane in Whitby, North Yorkshire, England.

Take from near the bottom of the 199 steps known locally as Church Stairs which rise to the East Cliff and St. Mary's.

Follow in the footsteps of Bram Stoker's Dracula by climbing Whitby's 199 Steps (tradition demands you should count them as you go)

Approaching Thorner village down Littlemoor Lane in West Yorkshire.

The lane links the village to the old disused railway track closed by Dr, Beeching

The name of Thorner is first attested in the 1086 Domesday Book as Torneure, Tornoure and Tornoura.

This is Ings Lane, Lastingham in the |North Yorkshire Moors National Park, England.

Schotts Lane.

What else does one do on a wet cold miserable day except?

In my case I went for a drive in the country and found Schotts Lane, a narrow suburban laneway that had a hidden gem, some stunning colourful trees that adorned the lane.

Berrima, New South Wales, Australia.

This old bridge was finally retired from traffic and now it has feet traffic crossing at Fort Gibson Oklahoma, spans the Neosho River or the old alt name Grand River. Not sure if when this was build if two cars could meet but I know if one as on the bridge you had to sit and wait for it to cross before taking your turn.

The Trough of Bowland in rural Lancashire. A picture round every corner.

This is one of Melbourne's many back alleyways, it runs behind George's Bar at 120, Johnston Street, Fitzroy.

It was 6:30 am on a Saturday morning, when these three 'patrons' of the Bar came outside 'to join me' and enjoy a smoko.

Known for it's street art and graffiti and it's rather cool vibe, London's Brick Lane is a photographer's dream location. And best of all it is ever changing. The artwork you saw yesterday will be painted over tomorrow, that's just how it works. Some artwork lasts longer than others but eventually they all get painted over by other artists.

Revisited the beaches of Pickering 5 months later. -22 degrees, and I had it all to myself ;)

October 2, 2021 - Went to Jeff Lane Motor Museum in Nashvile, Tennessee. This place is fantastic! Over 500 vehicles. I've been to one of the best car museums in the U.S., Petersen Auto Museum in L.A. but this one is right up there with it. Specializes in foreign cars and unique vehicles. Half of these I'd never seen or heard of. Well worth going to.

Dordogne, France.

This is a lane we walked located only steps away from our cottage. We passed cropland, woodland and open valley which ended at a stunningly located farm, to which we could walk no further!
