As I was coming down from Gorton Creek Falls, all dirty and soggy, a guy watched me struggle down the creek over boulders and moss and asked me, while pointing to this Emerald Falls, "Is this all there is?" In my opinion, this beautiful little falls is enough, but, he is right, there is much more upstream. You just have to really want to get there. He wasn't.

With a slight mist off the river and the sun blasting through the trees, rays of light are scattered about the forest.
