Accadono strane cose in cielo. I giochi di luce provocati dalle nuvole in tumulto delle perturbazioni tardo estive riescono talvolta a creare figure assolutamente stupefacenti. Non oso pensare come sarebbe stata interpretata questa lama di luce dai nostri lontani antenati. In ogni caso si tratta di un fenomeno suggestivo, quanto effimero; con il cielo che non cessa mai di stupire ..... ..

De lama werd tussen de 4000 en 5000 v.Chr. gedomesticeerd door de Inca's.

De lama is een ideaal lastdier in de bergen: hij kan overleven tot op 4000 meter hoogte en 25 tot 60 kilogram dragen over een afstand van 15 tot 30 kilometer per dag.

Door lama's als lastdier te gebruiken, konden de Inca's handel bedrijven over grotere afstanden.

Karavanen lama's werden gebruikt om koopwaar, goud en zilver te vervoeren. Ze kunnen tot 50 kilo aan gewicht dragen. Paarden waren in Amerika niet bekend en zijn pas in de 16e eeuw uit Europa ingevoerd.

The Lama is a river in the Moscow and Tver regions of Russia, flowing into the Ivankovskoye Reservoir. One of the country's first rural hydroelectric power plants was built on the Lama.

A source of unsalted water feeds this laguna and the llamas take advantage of the vegetation that grows in this place at the water's edge.
