The political upheavals put the country into trouble for some time and driving the increasing numbers of the young and educated away to set up their lives abroad. Syed Muhamad Hassan Raza, 22 years old, is hearing impaired. He studies for Bachelor's of Arts degree at the Special Education Center in Lahore, Pakistan. He is set to receive his first hearing aid, supported by the GPE-funded TALEEM program.
