There are many places that keep the tourists busy as the historical places.
The cheap flights to Lahore gives you the long simmering opportunity to visit this site. The political upheavals put the country into trouble for some time and driving the increasing numbers of the young and educated away to set up their lives abroad. The situation is little bit unsatisfactory but not to lose the opportunity of grabbing the beauty of Lahore.

The towers are built leaning backwards slightly. If there is an earthquake they will collapse outwards rather than inwards. Which would be bad luck for the populous Old City outside.
