Der Misurinasee ist ein vielbesuchter See in den Dolomiten in der Provinz Belluno in Italien.
Lake Misurina is the largest natural lake of the Cadore and it is 1,754 m above sea level, near Auronzo di Cadore (Belluno)
Lake Enol is a small highland lake in the Principality of Asturias, Spain. It is located in the Picos de Europa.
It is next to Lake Ercina and together, they form the group known as Lakes of Covadonga, inside the Picos de Europa National Park. Lake Enol is the larger of the two.
It was formed by the withdrawal of a front glacier.
A submerged image of the Virgin Mary is elevated every year on 8 September and then taken out for a procession.

Lago Misurina, also known as the "Pearl of the Dolomites" for its beauty, is the largest natural basin of Cadore.
As a jewel set among the UNESCO Dolomites, Lake Misurina stands at 1756 m. and is known not only for its charm, but also for the therapeutic properties it offers thanks to the particularly healthy microclimate.
A legend says that the lake was a gift from the fairy of Monte Cristallo to the daughter of King Sorapiss, Misurina, who insistently wanted a magic mirror. The mirror (water) was given to the girl, but on one condition: that the king became an imposing mountain, and so it explained the formation of the mountain range Sorapiss and the beautiful lake.
Around Lake Misurina we can see some of the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites: the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Sorapiss, Cadini and Cristallo.
It is the ideal place to make pleasant excursions in contact with nature, suitable for families and experienced hikers, but also to spend pleasant moments of relaxation.

Se encuentra a 30 kilómetros de San Martín de los Andes y se accede por la Ruta Nacional 40 conocida como la ruta de los siete lagos, ruta que lleva a la localidad de Villa la Angostura.
Se ubica al pie de los Andes (ladera oriental de los mismos), como muchos otros lagos de la Patagonia andina es de origen glaciario y está rodeado de bosques de coníferas y fagaceas.
