The Labyrinth is an ancient spiritual practice for the purpose of prayer and meditation. Whether you walk the Labyrinth or prefer to sit quietly in the space, you are welcome to come receive the refreshment of God. ...
decided to do an old school magical edit on an outtake from a few months ago..so busy today and still so much more to be done with the holiday craziness
thanks so much for the supportive comments yesterday.. the main thing i realized is to keep in mind is that the 365 project is a personal journey.. and i should not expect everyone to be supportive or understand what it is all about.. and that my photos should come from authentic inspiration.. and also to lighten up and just enjoy the process :)
🔮“Through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered I have fought my way here to the castle beyond the Goblin City to take back the child you have stolen, for my will is as strong as yours and my kingdom as great. You have no power over me!”

今年も逆光で八重桜を撮影してみました。去年と同じような複雑な姿をしていた。
This year, I also took a picture of double cherry blossoms against the sun.It had the same complicated appearance as last year.
We don't actually have any funnel web spiders in the UK. The Sydney Funnel-web Spider (Atrax robustus) and the Northern Funnel-web Spider (Hadronyche formidabilis) are both found on the other side of the planet in Australasia. However, that doesn't stop people's imaginations running wild when they see a funnel-shaped spider web in their garden hedge. (so what bit me on the ass last year is still a mystery!!!}....¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Lol!!!!
At this time of the year, the funnel webs in our gardens are normally the work of Labyrinth spiders. Labyrinths are common, shy little critters, and being a dull grey-brown colour they go largely unnoticed. It's only when they start building their webs that they draw attention to themselves.
At one end of the web there's a funnel shaped retreat. It's this funnel which can cause people to worry unnecessarily. In fact the web is really quite a magical piece of defensive architecture, designed to protect the spiders eggs.

A shot from a recent macro safari this is a Labyrinth spider Agelena labyrinthica in its funnel wed on a gorse bush in the dunes at Drigg. These are common in the vegetation of the dunes at Drigg.
My 4yr old son: Mummy, come quick! I did a book labyrinth. Me: [ ? ] Ok, let’s go and see whatever that means. :-)

Whew, I made it to the summit of Labyrinth Mountain. One of the most beautiful hikes ever... ever... I also shot a bunch of film, but that'll have to wait until I develop it.....
This is another from old pics.

Meu caminho pelo mundo, eu mesmo faço!
Ele só existe quando nele passo!
O vai e vem desta vida,
Alegre, belo é meu caminho!
Esperança! Energia maior contida,
Nas idas e vindas ao meu ninho!
Itinerante...
Lá vou eu!... ... ...
