Today while walking the labyrinth at Mercy Center Burlingame the topic of alignment came up and specifically the questions: How do you know when you are in alignement? And how do you know when you are out of alignment? Good things to pay attention to!

Somewhere there you might face a dead end. Or not.

Labyrinth in the nave of Amiens Cathedral, installed in 1288 by the architect Renaud de Cormont. Badly damaged in the Revolution, it was replaced by an exact copy in the 19th century.

No habrá nunca una puerta. Estás adentro

y el alcázar abarca el universo

y no tiene ni anverso ni reverso

ni externo muro ni secreto centro.

There'll never be a door. You're inside

and the keep encompasses the world

and has neither obverse nor reverse

nor circling nor secret center.

After almost 4 months they finally fixed the ventilation system for the laser cutters so at long last I can make acrylic headbands. In my excitement I did a hastily painted version of my Labyrinth Headband in blue acrylic.

The Cenacle House 7-circuit labyrinth. I walked this labyrinth and spent the time reviewing my life's progress thus far.

I attended a church retreat at the Cenacle House Retreat this weekend. This 9-acre sanctuary is a haven of silence designed for prayerful contemplation.

There is a labyrinth that runs underneath Castle Hill which is kind of neat conceptually but really cheesy in practice. The best part is that we found a random computer down there and were able to get online and IRC from it.

He, who every morning plans the transactions of the day, and follows that plan, carries a thread that will guide him through a labyrinth of the most busy life.

Neo loves to play the labyrinth in the park.

These were mostly experimental, to see just how dark it can get where I can still hand hold the D80 with no flash (ISO 1600, f/2, 28mm). Obviously noisy at the top, but I like that in this photo.

Diva Challenge 215...Ok...so it's not really a labyrinth, not exactly anyway, but I traced this toy a few months ago, and that's what it reminded me of.

This spider suddenly came out of his web whilst I was photographing him, but was only there long enough to get 2 shots before retreating into his web

Here's another LEGO design project based upon Jim Henson's Labyrinth the Movie. Obviously, I love the movie ;) If you like it you can support it on LEGO Ideas at the following link: ideas.lego.com/projects/112602. Thanks, BuildFiend :)

Amy, the owner of Tecopa Hot Springs Resort, built this labyrinth above the grounds after "asking each rock permission to move it." It's a cool spot that provides extracurricular activities outside of using the hot springs and hiking around nearby Death Valley.

Backyard of Labyrinth (Bhulbhullaiya) at Bara Imambara, Lucknow.

Built by Asaf-ud-daulah, Nawab of Lucknow, in 1784 for the purpose of Azadari. The Bara Imambara is among the grandest buildings of Lucknow.

The architecture of the complex reflects the maturation of ornamented Mughal design - it is one of the last major projects not incorporating any European elements or the use of iron.

The main imambara consists of a large vaulted central chamber containing the tomb of Asaf-ud-Daula.

At 50 by 16 meters and over 15 meters tall, it has no beams supporting the ceiling, and is one of the largest such arched constructions in the world.

There are eight surrounding chambers built to different roof heights, permitting the space above these to be reconstructed as a three-dimensional labyrinth with passages interconnecting with each other through 489 identical doorways. This part of the building, known as is a popular attraction, and often the whole complex may be referred to as the bhulbhulayah. It is possibly the only existing maze in India and came about unintenionally to support the weight of the building, constructed on marshy land.
