Labyrinth at Half Moon Bay CA

The labyrinth inside the cave on the mountain Golija.

Golija is a mountain between towns of Ivanjica and Novi Pazar. It belongs to the Dinaric mountain range. The mountain is heavily forested, with significant biodiversity and it hosts the Golija-Studenica Biosphere Reserve, the first UNESCO-MAB registered biosphere reserve in Serbia.Golija is an aerial spa, with three distinguishable climate areas: valley climate below 700 m altitude has moderate continental climate, the transitional (700–1300 m) has short and sharp winters with a lot of snowfall, and short and chill summers, with hot days and fresh nights. The mountainous area (over 1300 m) has severe winters and short summer.

Here's another LEGO design project based upon Jim Henson's Labyrinth the Movie. Obviously, I love the movie ;) If you like it you can support it on LEGO Ideas at the following link: ideas.lego.com/projects/112602. Thanks, BuildFiend :)

One of the most beautiful cathedrals in the world to visit has to be the Chartes Cathedral in Paris. This is a ceramic piece that we picked up in a local shop there on our honeymoon (dec 2000).

"Ours is a classical labyrinth pattern, made up of seven rings. These are created by mowing two different levels of grass. There is only one way in and out - the aim is not to get ‘lost’ in the pathways, but to walk them in their entirety, without skipping over any. To do so would surely be bad luck."

The Labyrinth is an ancient symbol meant to cement the relationship between the natural world and art with just one path to the center of the maze and one path of return. The sidewalk on which it was painted is a crossroads of the community garden, the Time Landscape, and the massive sculpture entitled “Sylvette” by Pablo Picasso. Entering the Seed Labyrinth, one slows down taking notice of nature in this busy city.

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Labyrinth, the puppetry track had a Jareth throne set up outside the trackroom

An interactive art exhibit. Participants put on headset that would vibrate when they hit an invisible "wall" by detecting infrared signals emitted overhead. The design of the maze changed for each day of the week since the system was computerized.

By participating, you become part of the art experience through your interactions with the labyrinth.

Used at the prayer retreat I recently attended.

Labyrinth looks like a very simple game for ages 8 upwards, but it requires a good spacial mind map and the ability to see how it can be changed.

At their turn, each player has only 11 possible changes they can make to the maze but it gets surprisingly complex with 4 players.
