Koezio's puzzle game will undoubtedly unsettle you, you will be questioned on all subjects and maybe where you don't expect it.

Time is swift and we're having another featherless Sunday. Today I bring you a rare snake called the Labyrinth Python. It is not found in the wild but is a product of crossbreeding different species of Pythons. This specimen is owned by an acquaintance and he acquired it from a breeder in Florida.

This labyrinth is at a place called the Mandala Center, a retreat in northern New Mexico. In the background is Capulin Volcano, dormant and now a state park or national forest. I walked the Labyrinth on a bracing windy day, driving back to Dallas from WY. Ok, I'm going to get all crystals and granola on you now...I feel a real affinity for labyrinths and get a very clear message each time I walk one, a life lesson if you will. This one showed me that in life you never know when you've crossed the mid-point. You're going along having an ordinary day and without knowing it you've crossed the exact mid-point in your day, your week....month...life...

During my recent sunset foray out on the ice of the bay, I selected two different supporting elements of the scene to work with. This image includes what I refer to as "ice puddles"; areas where the wind has blown the snow away to expose the ice surface to reflect the setting sunlight.

A spring day at Georgetown Waterfront Park, Washington, DC. Rosslyn, Virginia, is seen across the Potomac River. The National Park Service encourages visitors “to follow the tan part of the pathway into the labyrinth. Follow these steps for a mentally calming experience.”

In "Labyrinth of Perception," the viewer is invited to navigate an immersive environment where geometry and colour playfully distort the boundaries of space and reality. This installation explores the interplay between the observer and the observed, challenging the conventional notions of perspective and dimensionality. The bold, intersecting lines and vibrant hues are designed to evoke a sense of disorientation and curiosity, prompting a deeper reflection on how we perceive and interpret our surroundings. As you traverse the corridors, allow yourself to become absorbed in the rhythmic patterns, letting each step guide you through a journey of visual and sensory discovery.

A NEW AND WONDERFUL INTERACTIVE EVENT!

Do you Dare Enter?

Opening Oct 8th 2016

Here you stand, a candle in hand and only it’s flickering flame to guide you through the dark and twisting paths of…The Labyrinth.

The only sound that can be heard is the ominous crunching of dead leaves under your tired feet.

With each step the crunch seems to grow louder and louder, echoing like a faint heartbeat with in your head until you fear, that you’ll go insane amidst the never-ending echo of despair.

Suddenly, your flame flickers and abruptly as if it was never there, it vanishes, leaving you..... alone....... In the dark.

Your goal and only goal is to…Find a way out!

Here it is said the imagination comes alive, where you can find many creatures, flora and fauna that will forever leave your mind perturbed.

Perhaps if you are lucky, or unlucky enough, you may come across the humanoid creatures that call this place home, but beware, and some are not as innocent as they appear………

What will you find within the Labyrinth.... or worse, what.. will find you.......

Just like a spy through smoke and lights

I escaped through the back door of the world

From this date, five years ago on this date. COVID seems to have put an end to the tradition. I wonder if they will ever revive it.

▶ "We have created this labyrinth as a place of healing and contemplation for our community during a time of great uncertainty. ¶ All that is required is to move forward, placing one foot in front of the other. In the center, you may take a moment to shed some of the pressures or fear you are experiencing. Or, you may choose to simply breathe, soaking in the sounds of life and the natural world surrounding you. ¶ Just remember, there is no 'right' way to walk it. It is your journey, and when you are ready, simply follow the path back to where you began."

The construction of this mughal monument was done in 1784. This photo is taken from top of the labyrinth, which has 1024 similar looking doorways, 4 floors, walkways inside the walls. You can see the entire Lucknow city from top of it.

A labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. It combines the imagery of the circle and the spiral into a meandering but purposeful path. The Labyrinth represents a journey to our own center and back again out into the world. Labyrinths have long been used as meditation and prayer tools

The Church of the Holy Trinity in downtown Toronto near the Eaton Centre has a pavement labyrinth on its grounds. These arches form the approach to the labyrinth.
