Zijn geïllustreerde, bizarre wereld komt tijdens deze GLOW editie tot leven op Verdi’s muziek ‘Dies Irae’. De Heilige Geest en waanzinnige kluizenaars worden blootgesteld aan de meest vreselijke verleidingen. Een imposant eerbetoon aan een wereldberoemd kunstenaar ontworpen door het Franse creatief collectief van specialisten op het gebied van geluid, licht, beeld en video: Les Orpailleurs de Lumière. Het team bestaat uit : Jean-Luc HERVE and Benjamin Chauvet.

"The Merri Creek Labyrinth was created by the community for the community over ten years ago. It is a significant environmental art installation, and is the only known Labyrinth in a Melbourne park.
It is a classical seven-circuit labyrinth built from bluestones which are believed to have been previously quarried from the site.
The labyrinth is located in a linear park that runs the length of Merri Creek in Clifton Hill. It can be reached on foot by walking north along the Merri Creek path from Wright St, or south from The Esplanade. The 1200-year old walled medina in Fès has 9454 cobbled alleyways, 300 mosques, and ~540 Acres (220 hectares) large. It is regarded as one of the most extensive and well-preserved historic towns in the Arab-Muslim world.
With sprawling tentacles weaved through the city; kilometer after kilometer of dark, narrow, winding passages; streets abruptly come to an end with no warning; backtracking takes you to previously unexplored territory; endless climbing and descending, as well as navigating canals and tunnels; it's an understatement to say it looks like a maze!
Don't get lost, GPS doesn't work there!!!
Long story short, through no faults of ours, my friend and I got separated from the group. Our guide's words "It would take over 6 months to find your way out if lost" resonated with me, loud and clear, then!
Fortunately a young English speaking local saw our lost look and came to our rescue. He happened to know one of our local guides, after more than 30 minutes and enlisted another friend's help, they successfully reunited us, WITHOUT asking us for payment!

The spiral staircase is art hidden in our daily life.
In the glass labyrinth that consists of many reflections, it has no meaning to distinguish up or down, right or left.
I appreciate the janitors who make the whole spiral staircase sparkle.
