This is from 1963, the first year General Electric made complete Christmas light sets in the modern era. Up until this point GE was a supplier of Christmas lamps to other string set manufacturers and only sold replacement bulbs to the general public. Their string set design revolutionized the Christmas Lighting industry. The box design lasted only one season and was replaced in 1964.
