KUWAIT CITY, KUWAIT – March 30, 2012: At its pinnacle, the Kuwait Liberation Tower stands 372m. Also known as the Kuwait Telecommunications Tower, the construction was completed after the Iraqi invasion. Fortunately, the tower was not damage during the invasion. Today the tower symbolizes Kuwait's liberation from Iraq. The tower contains a revolving restaurant and a observation platform. Unfortunately, the observation platform is closed to the public for security reason.

This is a picture I took while in Kuwait waiting to deploy into Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. This is a picture I took during my visit to the US Air Force Academy Cemetery outside of Colorado Springs, Colorado. You can read more about this picture at the link.
The Kuwaiti Parliament was designed by the same guy who designed the Sydney Opera House and you can really see the influence.
