The Motherland Calls (Russian: Родина-мать зовёт!, tr. Rodina-mat' zavyot!, literally Homeland-Mother Is Calling) is a statue in Mamayev Kurgan in Volgograd, Russia, commemorating the Battle of Stalingrad. It was designed by sculptor Yevgeny Vuchetich and structural engineer Nikolai Nikitin, and declared the largest statue in the world in 1967. Today, it is the tallest statue in Europe and the tallest statue of a woman in the world, not including pedestals.
Скульптура «Родина-мать зовёт!» — композиционный центр памятника-ансамбля «Героям Сталинградской битвы» на Мамаевом кургане в Волгограде. Одна из самых высоких статуй мира, высочайшая статуя России и Европы (без постамента — самая высокая статуя в мире на момент постройки в течение 22 лет).
Монумент является центральной частью триптиха, состоящего также из монументов «Тыл — фронту» в Магнитогорске и «Воин-освободитель» в берлинском Трептов-парке. Подразумевается, что меч, выкованный на берегу Урала, потом был поднят Родиной-матерью в Сталинграде и опущен после Победы в Берлине.

Несмотря на то, что храм Всех Святых появился здесь лишь к 60-й годовщине Победы, в 2005 г., он уже успел стать неотъемлемой частью монумента и одной из «визитных» достопримечательностей Волгограда. Узкое и высокое здание храма словно стремится оторваться от измученной земли и вознестись в головокружительно голубые высоты волжских небес, а его золотые маковки, похожие на шлемы былинных витязей, торжествуют вечную славу павшим героям..
