Kumrat (Urdu: کمراٹ‎) is a valley in the #Upper Dir District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the Province of Pakistan. #Kumrat Valley is lcocated about 45 minutes away from the town of #Thal[2]. It is one of the scenic valleys of #Khyber #Pakhtunkhwa and a picturesque spot for travelers. Every summer season thousands of tourists from different areas of the country visit to Kumrat valley and enjoy the greenery and cool weather.
This peak joins the end of Shahi Bagh Valley of Gabral, Swat to the Valley touches Jahr e Kor, Kumrat Valley, Dir Upper.
Picture was taken from the Kashkein Pass Top which was 13,985 feet.

These are the meadows just close to Kundal Shahi. This was our first stop towards Jahaz Banda. We stopped here for about half an hour, took our food and enjoyed the serenity. Dense clouds did not leave us even at this point. :)

It was almost sunset when we reached the meadows at an altitude of 10,500ft. We were fortunate to get a clear sky at the golden hour. It took us 5 hours of continuous trekking to get here however mesmerizing beauty of the place took all the fatigue away.

Katora Lake is an alpine glacial lake located in the upper reaches of Jahaz Banda, Kumrat valley in Upper Dir District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the Province of Pakistan. The lake is fed by the surrounding melting glacier waters. The word Katora means "bowl" in Pashto. It was named after the lakes resemblance to a bowl shape.

Kumrat Valley (Altitude: 2359m / 7740ft) is situated in District Upper Dir KPK Pakistan & adjacent to Swat Valley and Chital Kalash Valley.
Kumrat Valley and Swat Kohistan are connected via Badgoye Pass, while Kalash Valley is connected through Kashken Top.
The Badgoye Top is also a Picnic Spot and containing Outsized and Lime Parklands.
Jeep track is used to travel between Utror and Thall Kumrat Valley, which is very less explored due to many reasons as bad road condition, lack of basic facilities.
The valley is Lush Green with many Meadows & full of trees. The Kumrat Valley is the last border of Dir Kohistan.
Dir Kohistan comprised of six villages’ Patrak, Biyar ,Barikot ,Kalkot ,Lamoti and Thall.
There are many point that look like heaven.There were people camping there, thick forest and river flowing in all it’s might.
Sheringal,Panjkora River, Wooden Canals in Thall, Waterfalls in Jahaz Banda, Kala Chasma, Badagoi Pass, Chahrot Banda,
Katora Lake,Jahaz Banda Meadows, Jandrai Village, Bara Dand Lake, Dojanga it is the last Point of Kumrat Valley.
This is Katoora Lake- our destination for this trekking. It is situated at an altitude of 11,500 ft. It gives you an awesome feeling when you reach the top and takes first view of the lake- it's just mesmerizing.
