Sunspots can be seen on a red setting-sun in Kentucky. That Kryptonian sun is sparked by haze pouring down from Canadian wildfires. The abundance of smokey particulates in the air makes the sky deeper blue and the sun more ruby red.

Red kryptonite simply weakened Superman, but to a greater degree

Blue kryptonite is the antidote to the random and bizarre effects of Red kryptonite.

Black kryptonite can split a Kryptonian into two separate entities: one good and the other evil.

Supergirl or Kara Zor-El (originally, just Kara; Kryptonians during the Golden Era used a single name for most women, and a two-syllable name for men; thus the addition of the patronymic to the female name is a contemporary convention) is the last survivor of Argo City, which had survived the explosion of the planet Krypton and drifted through space. Anyway, yesterday, she arrived at First Encounter Beach in Eastham just before sunset. Cliche sunset at the beach for the cliche Saturday group. hcs

Here is my take om black spider.

The helmet is kryptonian armor from the MOS sets. The torso and legs are from the death trooper from rouge one with the arms and belt coming from the LBM catwoman

Real Name: Dru-Zod

Occupation: Kryptonian Military General, Villain.

Gender: Male

Height: 6'3

Weight: 215lbs (98kg)

General Zod is a former Kryptonian military general and an enemy to Superman. Exiled to the Phantom Zone by his people for treason, he survived the destruction of Krypton and swore revenge against the son of Jor-El.

I'd love to hear what you think.

My Version of the Eradicator

The two Superman from Infinite Crisis

What a movie.... Spectacular for the time, probably terrible today...? :P

Nah! I really love the Christopher Reeve's Superman movies, even if they're a load of Pre-Crisis bologna with reversing-time-memory-wiping-kiss-cellophane-symbol powers, and all that other kooky junk... but they're so great because of it too! :P

For me, Superman II was the first Superman film I had seen as a kid (just after the S:TAS movies of course), and at the time, I absolutely loved it! Looking back on them now I can certainly say that it's not quite worth their merit considering that Empire Strikes Back came out the same year, and looked significantly better :P

Now that may have to do with the back-to-back filming Richard Donner did, with Superman and Superman II but at any rate, the Superman films only seemed to decline in quality as they went along :P

Superman II is my still my favorite, with the Superman I being a close second, and I have some really fond memories watching them. So It's shocking that I haven't tried to do anything like this yet! The Gene Simmons HairMetal Batsuit is a perfect torso for the OG Zod and I know I'm not the first to use the idea so don't sue me! If you know who started it let me know in the comments (I just can't seem to find the first person to give credit to!)

But I'll wrap it up here! Not much to say about this other than it was fun trip down memory lane, re-watching the old films and recreating a 1970's New Yor- ...er I mean Metropolis :P

Also while doing a bit of research I stumbled upon awesome pusits Richard Donner MF's by Kaiju_Dan! They're really great and you should all go check them out! flic.kr/p/LiM8HV

On an artificial construct the size of a planet, you need someone to help keep law and order. Especially when the construct houses some of the finest champions throughout the galaxy.

As a reward for bringing him one of the last Kryptonians in existence, Warworld chieftain Mongul has chosen to reward the two agents that brought him arguably one of the rarest items in the universe.

Tu-Kar: Much about his history remains a blur aside from his past as a Thanagarian warrior. It's believed that he was part of a failed coup that attempted to oust the leadership decades ago. As punishment for his participation, Tu-Kar was jettisoned into space whilst the senior figures of the coup were executed.

Lost in deep space, Tu-Kar found his ship being pulled into the artificial gravity field of the Warworld and soon pledged his allegiance to serve Mongul in the hopes of one day being returned to Thanagar. After more than a decade serving as an emissary of Warworld, Tu-Kar has begun to harbour ambitions beyond simply returning to Thanagar to live a life. Namely ambitions about returning to Thanagar as a conqueror with the force of Warworld behind him....

Qal-Tar: Many wonder just how old Qal-Tar is. Many say he's the former protector of Warworld before Mongul acquired the construct, others that Warworld was once the homeward of his race. One thing people can agree on though, is that he is devoutly loyal to Mongul.

With his body slowly failing him, Mongul has been helping to augment his servant's body by incorporating more and more technology even recently granting him a light-weight jetpack to traverse Warworld. As if there's one thing Mongul needs, it's to watch Tu-Kar closely. Mongul is many things, but he's no fool.

Not seen much of this guy around lately, so I figured I'd post my fig that's been laying about for months.

I sort of imagine this design as a combat/exploration armour for Brainiac for when he ventures beyond the confines of his ship, thus the more armoured look. After all, when you're doing battle with a Kryptonian, you need to come prepared.

Ready to use on the Man of Steel or any other rogue Kryptonian.

Based on the concept artwork for Alien.

I had great ideas for this but, to tell you the truth I'm over it.

Jake Vitlock used the Kryptonian armor, painted red, to make an extremely Badass rendition of Deadshot, so this is very much inspired by him. This is lowkey based on his look in Injustice 2 and his Rebirth look.

Painted/modified Kryptonian helmet, painted Kryptonian armor, Tony Stark head, Iron Man torso/legs, LBM Belt, painted cuffs.

The rest are all my standard figs, save for a sneak preview of Somebody I've yet to post.

Let me know what you think, and cheers!

And the winner of the Marvel Universes's stupidest hat award goes to:

Stryfe. But Havok and Galactus are the runners up.

I really like Havok honestly, he's one of those ridiculously underrated X-characters that needs more time to shine.

His helmet is three standard visors, painted and glued to a standard helmet, and a flat stud glued over top.

Head is batman's

torso is LBM Batman's with stud glued on,

legs are Kryptonian.

Let me know what you think!

Exactly what it says on the tin.

I made these with the intent of showcasing them with my Kryptonian-armor Deadshot but eh, I'm not crazy with how they turned out. I feel like they're headed in the right direction but it's not a direction I'll probably pursue.

Also I tried a different head for Floyd, I honestly like it a little better.

Anyways, cheers, folks!

Character Creation

Lyssa Drak is an alien supervillainess published by DC Comics. First appearing in Green Lantern vol. 4 #18 (May 2007), she was created by Geoff Johns and Dave Gibbons.

Fictional Character History

Origin

As told in Sinestro Annual #1

Lyssa Drak grew up on Talok IV, located in the Talokian star system in Sector 3500, where she lived with her uncle Malvern. Then one day when Azrel Vaak came to visit her uncle and browse his collection. Many came to look at Malvern's collection of tomes, but none were like Azrel.

Lyssa fell in love with Azrel and when the young scholar asked her help in getting into Malvern private forbidden library, Lyssa agreed. Little did she know Malvern was on to her treachery and at night when Lyssa broke into his library, Malvern was already there waiting for her. He had killed Azrel and then locked Lyssa in the library with the corpse.

For more then a week Lyssa screamed for help, but then months later, after Malvern had forgotten about his niece he returned to the library. There he found Lyssa still alive, she had consumed her former lover as well as most of Malvern's books and tomes about the dark arts.

Lyssa then killed her uncle and left his manor as a monster.

Little else is known about Lyssa until she became a member of the Sinestro Corps though it can be assumed it has been inscribed within the pages of the Book of Parallax. For reasons unknown, this tome, which holds the stories of the greatest Sinestro Corpsmen, was chained to Lyssa Drak with yellow energy from Sinestro himself. This was possibly for the need to have a historian for his Corps and a way for Sinestro to revisit his Corps' success. Lyssa Drak is quite loyal to Sinestro and highly devoted to updating the Book and keeping it safe.

History

Lyssa Drak is also involved in the training of prospective Sinestro soldiers. Once a corpsmen has finished the physical training and was judged by Arkillo, the Sinestro Drill Sargeant, the new recruit would have their yellow power ring drained of energy and they would enter a Fear Lodge. Within the dark confines of the Fear Lodge, the recruit would have to face their fears and embrace them in order to recharge their ring.

If a recruit succeeded, then their ring would open the Fear Lodge. If the recruit failed, then they would be left to die within either from thirst, starvation, suffocation, or suicide. Whatever the recruit's fate, Lyssa Drak was there to record their success or failure in the Book of Parallax.

Lyssa Drak presided over Amon Sur's initiation and helped prepare him for his time in the Fear Lodge. Amon had approached Lyssa for help to purge his fear. Instead, Lyssa read from the Book of Parallax stories of other Sinestro Corps members including Bedovian, Despotellis, Low, Karu-Sil, and Kiriazis. Afterwards, Amon entered the Fear Lodge, learned his greatest fear is the Green Lantern Hal Jordan, and succesfully ignited the charge in his ring.

Aside from recording the history of the Sinestro Corps, Lyssa Drak also seems to have some insight as to what will take place for her corps, as well. Whether this is actual knowledge of the future or simply plans intended by Sinestro remain to be seen.

When the Sinestro Corps waged war on the Green Lantern Corps, Green Lanterns John Stewart and Guy Gardner were captured and Lyssa was charged with overseeing their captivity. Hal Jordan, along with fellow Lanterns Graf Toren and Tomar Tu, came to the rescue. Lyssa Drak was grateful for the chance to defeat the three Lanterns, for she wanted to add her own success to the pages of the Book of Parallax. Unfortunately, Drak was defeated herself and she and the Book were placed under Green Lantern custody.

As she was being transported to Oa to be placed in a Sciencell, Lyssa told the story of fellow Sinestro soldier Kryb, an evil creature known for attacking coupled Green Lanterns and abducting their newborn children.

Several members of the Green Lantern Corps have tried to interrogate her following her capture, but she inevitably tells them a story about her fellow Sinestro Corps members rather than share her secrets. She was awaiting trial on Oa when Scar, the Black Guardian, released Red Lantern Corps member Vice in the Sciencells to provoke a massive riot. In the melee, Drak stole away to search for the valuable Book of Parallax, only to find the dreaded Book of the Black. Shortly after this, Scar surprised her from behind and has somehow trapped her within the pages of the Black Book.

She was released from her prison by Krona, who wanted her to be the Keeper of a new Book that he intended to be created.

Powers and Abilities

Qwardian (Yellow) Power Ring which give him the following abilities:

Animating: A Sinestro Lantern can will things to move how he wants. The object moved however is often covered in a yellow aura.

Artificial Intelligence : Every ring has a connection to the Main Battery on Qward, which taps into Parallax. It acts as an "on-board computer," telling the wearer what they need to know. It can either respond out loud, or silently directly to the wearer's mind. The AI contains a large database of information that may be crucial to a "Sinestro's" success. The ring also translates nearly every language to and from the wearer, which is why the Corps can communicate with each other. When the bearer of a Sinestro Corps ring dies, the ring will seek out a suitable replacement for their sector, someone capable of instilling great fear.

Communicator: The ring can act as a personal communicator between Sinestro Lanterns. They have also been seen connected to telephones.

Costumes: The wearer of the ring may create any costume they choose, based on their personal preferences, whenever they choose. The ring projects the costume over any clothes already worn at the time.

Energy Projection: The rings can also project beams, form protective bubbles and force fields, and fire destructive blasts. Sometimes, depending on the wearer, the beams and blasts make sounds.

Energy Constructs: The rings can construct anything the wearer can imagine from hard-light energy, as long as they are willing to make it. The more determined the wearer is, the more complex and intricate these things can be. The constructs can even be so complex as to form working machines, computers, and even people.

Flight: The ring allows the wearer to fly in atmosphere or in space, and can achieve incredible speeds, moving from planet to planet in a matter of hours.

Invisibility: The Sinestro Corps ring has the ability to make

Mind Control: The wearer of the Ring can use it to plant post hypnotic commands or control a person.

Mirages: The Ring can create mirages/illusions.

Phasing: The ring allows the user to go through walls.

Power Absorbing: In the JLA's first fight with Amazo, it was GL who defeated him by drawing out all of Amazo's powers. In Green Lantern/Silver Surfer: Unholy Alliances, Kyle defeated Parallax with SS' power and Thanos with Oa's energy by drawing out all that extra energy from them which made them unconscious. However he couldn't hold all that power nor could his Ring like Hal did with Amazo's powers, so that move isn't often used with so much power.

Probing: The ring can probe the Lantern's or another person's mind, allowing him to uncover memories or the person's thoughts.

Radiation: Besides light based radiation used to create the energy constructs associated with a Sinestro Corps member or a Green Lantern, the ring can simulate various forms of radiation. One example of this is the ability to simulate the radiation of Red solar radiation, which stunts or removes the powers of Kryptonians and Daxamites.

Recharging: The rings need to be recharged by means of a Power Battery. Other large sources of power may be used to recharge a power ring, however effectiveness may vary. The internal power source of a Manhunter Android is, in effect, the same as a power battery, and can be used to recharge a power ring.

During the JLA / Avengers crossover, a Cosmic Cube was used to recharge a depleted ring, although this is not an ideal solution and is available if there are no other options. Members of the Sinestro Corps they generally quote the Sinestro Corps oath while recharging their rings: "In blackest day, in brightest night, Beware your fears made into light! Let those who try to stop what's right, Burn like his power... Sinestro's might!” Unlike the Green Lantern Corps however each Sinestro Corps member seems to use a standard unaltered oath.

Temperature Control: The Ring can increase or decrease the temperature of anything, even something as large as stars, or even create bubbles of intense heat or cold, even down to Absolute Zero..

X-Ray: The Sinestro power ring has the ability to see through all objects without others around him/her being aware that the object has been made transparent. Not all material can be penetrated though

Still waiting for this version of Lex on DC movie...

Watching BvS for the first time was both a fun experience and also quite exhausting. I had a near-12-hour workday that day and caught the late show with some friends. I was excited to be with the guys and finally see such a big movie, but I was a little out of it. I didn't want to admit it but I was struggling to keep awake, a problem I've never had in a movie theater in my entire life. My lack of focus resulted in me not understanding much of what I was watching, either.

By the end of the movie the theater was getting hot, I was tired, and the constant intense flashing of lights and super loud roars of Doomsday were giving me a Kryptonian Super-headache. I also really had to use the restroom as I was drinking a lot that night. I just wanted it to be over as soon as possible. By the time the credits rolled, I made a beeline for the urinal.

If you're interested in how I set up this photo, you can see the behind the scenes shots here and here.

And for a Before/After comparison shot, look here.

Anyway, throughout the entire Hero/Doomsday fight at the end, all I kept doing was trying to remember where I've seen a translucent green-tipped spear before.

Here they are, the long-awaited Crime Syndicate. I made and posted Owlman and Ultraman a long time ago, and there was some demand for the rest of them, so here they be, based off their various appearances.

Power Ring: Everything about this character screams "Poundland knock-off Green Lantern figure that Ashens would burn." Robin head, World Racers torso, Painted CMF Weightlifter legs.

Superwoman: CMF Dino Hunter hair, Barbara Gordon head, Reversed Kryptonian torso, Kryptonian legs.

Ultraman: Swapped out his armor for epaulets.

Owlman: I think his legs are different now.

Johnny Quick: Not completely satisfied with this one. Power Miners helmet, Scuba Robin head, Reversed Mighty Micros Flash torso, CMF Lifeguard legs.

Lemme know whatcha think!

Alias: Parasite

Real Name: Raymond Jensen

Gender: Male

Backstory: A Kryptonian experiment resulted in Parasite being born. Disappointed in the results, Parasite was abandoned on Earth. Now needing to blend in with society, Parasite would call itself Raymond Jensen, after seeing some newspaper clippings. "Raymond" realized that it could prolong its lifespan, by absorbing the life-force of others. As time went on, the power would dwindle, which meant it needed to absorb life-force more frequently in order to survive. So it lurked in the shadows, preying upon innocent humans. When encountering those with super-powers, Parasite would gain access to their powers upon absorbing life-energy. It looks for answers to cure its condition, which leads to an unlikely alliance with Hank Henshaw, also known as Cyborg Superman.

Explore #77

From Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Guido Marsille's benches and Onno Poiesz's found objects together form an installation characterized by incongruity. While it's a friendly arrangement of two objects with benches, the artists' interventions are also alien to the space: the benches are artificial tree trunks, not real benches, while the boots and a gemstone appear lost. The boots appear everyday, yet surreally, they are upside down, lost. The shared title of the work, Kryptonian Ice Lake, refers to the comic book hero Superman and Casper David Friedrich's painting "Ice Sea," and thus to Romanticism. Poiesz's sculptures, found objects, appeal to the imagination, just as the comic book does. The tree trunk benches evoke the 19th-century fashion of imitating nature with papier-mâché-like materials. All this makes for a humorous and unorthodox seating area, full of familiar elements, inviting you to sit down.

This idea was the first thing I thought of for customizing that actually made made sense my parents got me a set for my birthday when it came out then I got another then bought an extra super man so I have all these excess parts. Should I make a helmet?

I've got a ton of stuff saved up, so I'm basically just gonna be spam-posting for the next week or so to get everything out there. Some stuff is already out-of-date.

Lashina: Had Duchess, so figured I may as well make her better known costume. Aurra Sing hair, modified Bat Lord helmet, Hermione head, Savage Oppress armor, Kryptonian torso/legs.

Cyborg Superman: Inspired mostly by Jonathan. Ninjago hair/helmet, Star Wars head, Superman torso, Power Miners leg.

Black Mask: Just wanted to try the Bruce Wayne suit and tie on him before it went to The Roman forever.

Desaad: Young Boba Fett head, Wacky Witch torso.

Static Shock: Gave him Lightning Lad's torso/legs.

More to come, let me know what you think!

Some CBS(now CW) Supergirl season 1 villains

Left to right:

Red Kryptonite Kara-how she appears in the "red kryptonite" episode

Master Jailer-My favorite of the bunch, and I am happy with how he turned out

Non-Basic Kryptonian suit with black legs

Indigo-I'm torn on this one, I like the figure but I feel it could be better, so I am open to suggestions on torso options.

Which is your favorite? I have another group of Young Justice figs planned that should be uploaded this weekend as well.

Formulas:

Kara-Agent 13 hair, Supergirl head, Faora torso, black legs, trans red rock/crystal

Master Jailer-Shadow Stormtrooper helmet, armored batman torso reversed, and armored batman legs

Non-reddish brown slicked back hair, "angry clone" head, Tor-an torso, black legs

Indigo-same hair as non but in medium dark flesh, nebula head, Atlantis torso, dark blue legs

A Patreon bonus image of my other two purist Kryptonians from the Superman II photoshoot. ...I mean, how could I build Zod and not those other two beauties?!

Plus, now that the second CMF Batman Series is right around the corner, I suppose it makes this photo irrelevant now :P

Hello.

My name is Jor-El but you can call me Jordan.

I would tell you how my story begins when I moved to Metropolis but that isn't really the case. You see , the thing that makes me different from you is the fact that I'm ..well...an alien.

Now I know what you're thinking , "That's impossible!" and you're probably dialing 911 already to get me locked up in a clinic for the mentally insane. But before you do that , atleast let me tell you the story till its end.

About two or three years ago I arrived to Earth in a spaceship originating from Krypton.I'm assuming you're wondering what's krypton .Krypton is a planet "in a galaxy far far away",eh sorry for the cliche.Well , it used to be one until it was destroyed after an asteroid collided with it. Only a few of us managed to escape by pure luck. I don't know about the others , but I do know about myself . Upon arriving to Earth I realized something . On Earth, no one shared the same abilities I did . The people of Earth could not fly , they could not breathe underwater, and many more things that us kryptonians could . I realized at that moment that I had to keep my abilities secret because as big as their potential to help was , their potential to hurt was even bigger. Reminds me of a phrase I read in a comic book , "With great power comes great responsibility". About two months after my arrival I got a job as a news reporter in The Daily Planet . I've met a good friend there who works as a cameraman and we go out to a bar to drink and talk about our lives every Friday .His name is Vallus but everyone calls him Val. Other than that , my life has been what the people of earth would describe as 'Boring' but I like it.

That is , until today .

----

Friday , 5:00 pm

I struggle with my keys while trying to unlock the door since I'm in a bit of a rush . I told Val I'd meet him at the bar around 5 pm but I got stuck in traffic .

Ah, Finally!

I exclaim as I finally unlock the door and get into my apartment. I drop my suitcase on the couch and just as I'm getting out of my work suit I hear something outside the building. You see , my apartment overlooks the central square in Metropolis .

And that's when I see him.

A man with blonde hair wearing a white suit and cape hovers in the air, surrounded by flames.

Oh boy, I think to myself just as he propels himself in the direction of my apartment.

I dodge to the side just as he smashes through the wall .

I make my way to the bedroom where I keep my suit from Krypton tucked under the bed and as I do , I feel a burning heat behind me indicating that I should probably hurry up. I close the door behind me just as I get in but I doubt that will stop him altough it might buy me enough time to get my suit on.

And , surprisingly it does .

Just as I'm putting my bandana on so no one can recognize me by my face , the fire engulfs my wooden bedroom door .You could say things are getting pretty heated . I bust through the bedroom wall and fly into the sky as far as I can to lure him away from the civilians . And he follows as I expected .

We meet in the sky both distanced from each other about 5 feet.

I thought I was the only Kryptonian around here

He smiles .

You are .We're just clones

He extends his hands and fiery flames come out of them , hungrily going in my direction but I stop them with my cold breath .

Suddenly , he flies straight into my chest knocking the air out of my lungs and sending me flying back , while turning around disoriented . I regain my balance but he's nowhere to be seen. As I try to remember every detail about him that I can , I remover one thing in particular that at first I didn't think was important .

He had a small symbol on his left arm . It was the letter E with its part that make out a L bolded and crossed out with a X .

E,L,X?

Lex Corp ?

Suddenly I hear my phone ring , which suprises me since I'm amazed that in the midst of all that chaos not only did I get my suit on but I also took my phone with me.

I check who's calling and see its Val . Its 6 o'clock.

Where the Hell have you been Jordan , its 6 o'clock .

Val , you are never gonna believe me even if I told you .

----

Zero edgyness ,

zero dark aspects

but a lot of fun

and happy aspects. :D

Disclaimer, this was written by just me and is a solo application

Wow look, it’s Atomic Skull! Better watch those toxic rad readings, eh? But that’s not the reason for this post.

I’ve seen too many examples of faulty crediting to stay quiet any longer. From my observations, people tend to fall into one of two schools of crediting, both of which are flawed.

1. Giving credit simply when somebody posts something before you do.

OR

2. Not giving credit when you did not think of the idea yourself.

Both of these approaches to crediting share a common flaw - they lack honesty. For the first school, if you truly came up with an idea for a fig on your own volition, that is YOUR IDEA that you can take pride in coming up with by yourself. There is no need to give credit to something that came from your creativity: anything less than this would be cheating yourself.

Honesty is just as important on the other side. If you see some great idea for a fig on Flickr and are INSPIRED to use similar or identical parts, it’s your responsibility to disclose this in the post that you make. Note the specific word that I chose put in all caps. You’re not giving credit to the parts/fig, you’re giving credit to the ACTION of taking somebody else’s idea and building off of it. Whether or not you choose to do this is dependent on your moral conscience.

But what about the grey area? What if somebody posts a fig that you’ve built a super similar version of? Are they copying you? Are you copying them? How can you tell?

Again, you can tell by just being honest with yourself. Unlike the very real conflicts that can occur over simultaneous invention in professional industry, there’s really no tangible reward that comes to whoever wins the race to post the best new purist version of Magneto before anyone else. There are no patents, no profits, and certainly no dick-measuring. If everyone could just own up to what they came up with and what others came up with, there would be no grey area in which to wage passive-aggressive comment wars.

When I first joined Flickr, I really admired the integrity of artistry in this community. But I think a part of this integrity fell by the wayside the moment we began to misapply the concept of crediting to focus more on the race to post than the reason we’re posting in the first place - the reason being to showcase our creativity and to hopefully inspire others to take our ideas and make them even better. Our craft should be just as iterative as our shared medium of Lego.

I’ve said my peace, and now I’ll give a concrete example of how crediting should ideally work. This Atomic Skull fig was chiefly inspired by Roman’s - I did NOT think of the idea for the head on my own, and his Atomic Skull post inspired me to build a similar figure. This fig was also inspired by Adam’s Atomic Skull - I did not think of using Kryptonian armor UNTIL I saw HIS post! However, I DID think of the idea for the flaming head ON MY OWN, and I’m quite happy that I came up with that idea. :)

Not much to say here, but . . .

I gave Lego's Supergirl a different face, basically just for the heck of it.

I noticed my Creeper looked almost too monstrous, so Iooked around for a bit more human head, and I found a matching head in the minifig scale AOU Hulk.

Character Creation

Ursa is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. She first appeared in the 1978 film Superman: The Movie portrayed by actress Sarah Douglas.

The character made her comic book debut in Action Comics #845 (January 2007). An adversary of the superhero Superman, Ursa is the wife and lieutenant of General Zod. She is typically depicted as having been imprisoned in the Phantom Zone along with Zod and Non.

Fictional Character History

History (New Earth) -Last Son (Part II)

The Kryptonian Science Council discovered that two of their most revered scientists, Jor-El and Non, had determined that in a short matter of time, Krypton would suffer geothermic upheavel that would destroy the entire planet. Branding them as heretics, the cowardly members of the Science Council sent General Zod and his militants to Jor-El's laboratory to arrest he and Non.

Ursa was in charge of placing the two scientists under arrest and handing them over to the council. The Science Council administered a stern warning to them, and set them free. Before long, Zod and Ursa discovered that Jor-El and Non had been right all along. Krypton had little time left.

Non ignored the Council's warning and preached to the populace of Krypton revealing everything he knew of the pending disaster. Zod and Ursa defected from the military and joined Non's cause. Soon after, Non was captured and lobotomized under orders of the Science Council.

This incident drove Zod over the edge, and Ursa and he began an insurrection that made them the most wanted criminals on the planet. They were eventually captured and brought to justice. Jor-El argued on their behalf, and swayed the Science Council from sentencing them to death. Instead, Jor-El elected for a more peaceful means of punishment - exile in the Phantom Zone.

Rebirth (Prime Earth) -Revenge Conclusion

During Cyborg Superman's plans on forming a team to take revenge on Superman, he recruits General Zod.

However, most of the team doesn't want Zod as there leader, Zod then betrays them and sends the Eradicator II and Cyborg Superman into the Phantom Zone. Henry Henshaw thinks they are there to retrieve Zod's army, but instead the Eradicator is given orders by Zod to rescue his wife Ursa and there son Lor-Zod, which was his goal all along. With the Eradicator, they escape and fled to another planet, Jekuul, to help begin Zod's plans on rebuilding a new Krypton. Cyborg Superman is left trapped in the Phantom Zone.

Powers & Abilities

Military Training

As a member of the Kryptonian Military Guild, she received extensive training in the use of weapons, applicable technology, hand to hand combat, strategy, and survival techniques.

As a Kryptonian, Ursa is as dangerous as she is beautiful. Under the yellow sun, she has all of Superman's powers and abilities: flight, super-strength, speed, heat-vision, and others to mention, are all apart of her power set.

She's absolutely loyal to Zod and is willing to do absolutely anything for him. Her fighting skills are extremely deadly, making her a foe that Superman or other superheroes need to watch out for.

Kryptonian Physiology

Under the effects of a "yellow" sun, Ursa possesses the same potential powers as an average Kryptonian. These include:

Solar Energy Absorption

Under optimal conditions, this is the main source of Ursa's super powers as they are contingent upon exposure to solar radiation from a yellow sun star system.

Her biological make up includes a number of organs which lack analogues in humans and whose functions are unknown.

It is believed that between one or more of these and her bio-cellular matrix, "yellow" solar energy is stored for later use.

This allows for the use of these powers to fade when yellow solar radiation is not available instead of immediate failure.

Heat Vision

Ursa can, as a conscious act, fire beams of intense heat at a target by looking at it. She can vary the heat and area affected.

Super-Hearing

Ursa's hearing is sensitive enough to hear any sound at any volume or pitch. With skill and concentration, she can block out ambient sounds to focus on a specific source or frequency.

Enhanced Vision

Ursa's vision processes the entire electromagnetic spectrum as well as allowing vast control over selective perception and focus.

This umbrella ability includes the following:

Electromagnetic Spectrum Vision

Ursa can see well into most of the electromagnetic spectrum. She can see and identify radio and television signals as well as all other broadcast or transmitted frequencies. Using this ability, she can avoid detection by radar or satellite monitoring methods. This also allows her to see the aura generated by living thing.

Telescopic Vision

This is the ability to see something at a great distance, without violating the laws of physics. Though limited, the exact extent of the ability is undetermined. In function, it is similar to the zoom lens on a camera.

X-Ray Vision

This is the ability to see through any volume of matter except lead. Ursa's can see things behind a solid, opaque object as if it were not there. She can focus this ability to "peel back" layers of an object, allowing hidden image or inner workings to be observed. The exact type of energy perceived - such as x-rays, cosmic rays, or some other energy invisible to normal humans - is unclear. This ability perceives an ambient energy source though, it does not involve the eye projecting a concentrated, possibly toxic, beam to be reflected back from objects.

Microscopic Vision

This is the ability to see extremely small objects and images down to the atomic level.

Infrared Vision: Ursa's can see with better acuity in darkness, and to a degree in total darkness.

Flight

Ursa is able to manipulate graviton particles to defy the forces of gravity and achieve flight. This ranges from hovering to moving in any posture, in any direction.

Invulnerability

Due to the interaction of her dense molecular structure and supercharged bio-electric aura, Ursa is nigh-invulnerable to extreme energy forces. In addition, her extends this protection against toxins and diseases.

Superhuman Stamina

Ursa is able to maintain continuous strenuous physical action for an indefinite period of time. This based on her body converting yellow solar radiation directly to energy, but is limited by physiological and psychological needs to eat, drink, and sleep.

Superhuman Strength

Ursa's strength is augmented by yellow solar radiation interacting with the greater than human density, resilience and biological efficiency of her musculature. Her strength is more an act of conscious will on energy fields than actual physical strength. It is this act of conscious will that enables her to perform physical feats that are beyond the mere application force, such as moving a mountain top without said rock crumbling under its own mass.

Superhuman Speed

Ursa is able to move at incredible speed by sheer force of will. This extends to her perceptions and allows for feats such as catching bullets in mid flight as well as covering vast distances in little or no time.

This also confers:

Superhuman Agility

Superhuman Reflexes

Super-Breath

Ursa is able to create hurricane force winds by exhaling air from her lungs. She can chill the air as it leaves her lungs to freeze targets. She can also reverse the process to pull large volumes of air or vapor into her lungs.

Weaknesses

Kryptonian Physiology

Under the effects of a "yellow" sun, Ursa possesses the same potential weaknesses as an average Kryptonian. These include:

Vulnerability to Kryptonite

Vulnerability to Magic

Solar Energy Dependancy

I am still looking for the Kryptonian Crystals but somewhere out there is a superhero that the world needs.

On location, someplace near no-where, this is the barn from the 2006 Hollywood blockbuster Superman Returns.

Shot with a Nikon D4, 16-35 f4 and 6 bottles of James Squires finest One Fifty Lashes.

As always, thanks for looking!
