Route 9 on Stoddard Hill, in Chesterfield, N.H., was closed after a tractor-trailer traveling west towards Brattleboro jackknifed after trying to avoid hitting a car in the other lane head-on during a snowstorm on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018. Two cars behind the tractor-trailer were involved in the crash, one sliding off the road and other hitting the tractor-trailer’s cabin. The driver of the tractor-trailer was transported for non-life threatening injuries.
