The fire, which was first called in at 7:58 a.m., was updated to a third alarm at 8:10 a.m. Crews shutdown a section of Putney Road as they tap various hydrants to help battle the blaze.

Thousands of police officers and citizens lined the streets for the procession of the fallen police men from downtown Pittsburgh to the Petersen Event Center on Thursday April 9. A public memorial was held at the event center for officers Paul J. Sciullo II, 36, Stephen J. Mayhle, 29 and Officer Eric G. Kelly, 41, who lost their lives Saturday morning April 4. A somber day as many pay their last respects to these fallen heroes.
