Kopparklinten (the copper cliff) in the sunset. I've been taking some of my earlier photos from the top of that rock, (see further down my photostream).
In Sweden, much like anywhere in the world actually, every place needs to have a name, so that we can refer to it more precisely. Even if it's just about a ranch, or a couple of houses in the middle of some remote forest, the place has its distinct name. I think this is just simply part of human endevour in an effort to tame and subdue the world that surrounds us. By naming everything, we appear to be in control of all these places and things.
Following the same train of thought, the name of this place is Kopparklinten, which would translate into The Copper Cliff. Pretty much spot on, as the whole rock looks copper red in the sunset. I have some pictures of it coming up soon. ;)
