One of the "character based" flavors of Kool-Aid. Used a character other than Kool-Aid Man to market it. From the '90s.
Apparently this is still being produced in certain parts of the world. I got a packet from England with updated graphics.
First test of Kool-aid colors for Spring color chart. Colors need to be toned down more, but good for Summer.
Merino rovings dyed with Kool-Aid (and Flavor-Aid). Note to self: do not wring out rovings.
My newer old Kool-Aid packet find. The "Vitamin C" packets are from the late General Foods-era, the other two are from the early Kraft era(late 80s - early 90s).
Goodwill find; this special edition player with the Kool-Aid Man on the front was originally available through sending in Kool-Aid points, A personal video disc at random came free with the player through sending in 24 Kool-Aid Points.
For my own TRP day: Playing Dead. I figured if I'm going to die, I'm taking Chucho and the finfan and her kids with me. And who doesn't love Kool Aid? Mmmmm... Sweet dreams...
We drank the royal koolaid. And it was delicious;).
But obviously waking up super early, puffy eyes from allergies, a fascinator and standing in front of a white chair while wearing a white dress is not the best way to ease yourself back into a self portrait.
Yikes.
My SIL, on the other hand, looks adorable!
In 1978, Jim Jones led his people to the jungles of Guyana to form a new integrationalist society. FBI and others were on to him for child abuse and other charges. A congressman and news crew went to investigate and were ambushed by Jim's guards. Afterwards, Jim commanded his flock to commit mass suicide with a Koolaid cynanide mixure at gun point. As a kid, he would kill cats and hold funerals for them.

Isn't she just the cutest thing EVER????
I'm completely over the moon to have her! She is so beautifully handmade and perfect in every ounce of detail. She is my prized possession!
Thank YOU so much Violet Pie <3
knitting with fellow Nashville Ravelers at Panera. I worked on my Pomatomus sock (yes, I'm still on the first one, I'm slow) while we chatted and ate. :)
I love how the pattern just flows into the heel flap. again I say, this pattern is genius!
One of the "character based" flavors of Kool-Aid. Used a character other than Kool-Aid Man to market it. From the '90s, it was discontinued after several years.
This was one of my favorites.
okay today was quite an excellent day. had to wake up early to go over to wilson's, we made videos and stuff for our texan bffz for youtube, then we started drinking these
koolaid things.
and wilson was inspired to do this with water and food coloring. and they turned out way better than i think we both thought they would.
it was quite a grand time.
creds to wilson (<-----myspace) for creating the wonderful splashes, ahahahaa :)
I was today years old when I learned the Kool-aid man’s catchphrase was “oh yeah.”
ODC: packet (of kool-aid)
For a short time, Kool-Aid was put in bottles like a soda.
Original Berry Blue Kool-Aid from the '70s or '80s.
This is not the same flavor as Berry Blue that is sold today (see here). They reformulated it after taking it off the shelves in the late '70s, early '80s.
The closest flavor that currently exists to this is Ice Blue Raspberry Lemonade.

▶ Completed in 1907, the Decatur Waterworks once treated water from the Peachtree and Burnt Fork Creeks for drinking water for the city of Decatur, Georgia. During World War II the facility was used as the exclusive water supply for the Naval Air Station that is now Peachtree DeKalb Airport and an Army Hospital in the area. The waterworks were abandoned in the late 1940s and are now in disrepair and covered with graffiti.

in the middle of a move, this will be the final photo with the dancing green background and the floors and cord just so. It was taken on the right day but was just uploaded to day because i lost the down load cord for a little while
No kidding. Koolaid Pie. This particular type was blue raspberry lemonade. Pretty sour, in my opinion, but my kids LOVED it. You're supposed to put it in the fridge for a couple of hours before serving, but it's been so hot here that I put it in the freezer. I would highly recommend doing it that way. The consistency was more like ice cream. Pretty fun. And colorful.

Sometimes I miss the color palette of the 90-s, but one look at the insanely fluorescent Kool-Aid Wacky Warehouse Barbie is enough to reset my thinking. This doll literally kills your eyes!
