A bit of grain added (Tri-X) makes the out-of-focus Ilford Pan F more palatable to my eyes.

We grabbed some time to bring you the thoughts and images of Seth Harwood, South Dakotan and night shooter extraordinaire.
There’s plenty of stunning work for you to absorb below, so without further ado, it’s over to Seth.
Hi Seth, what’s this picture,...

Some days are diamonds....and we know how the saying goes.
This was not a diamond day : /
It took me quite the hike in to get to this spot - very hot day, flies like you wouldn't believe and a 6 foot black snake across the walking track..... thats all good if I came out with some great shots. I took my Bronica + 3 lens, Noon pinhole, film, water and manfrotto...yes the weight is starting to add up. Got to some great inlets, bays and coast line...got out the pinhole and shot off a whole roll, thought I'd empty and load up again. To my horror the backing back is unravelled and the film just falls to the ground....the tape that holds the two together was missing. Did it all again. Anyway fast forward, time to develop the Tri-x....load it in the tank and start with my usual stand process only to realise the water is at 25 degrees, that can't be good. I quickly dumps ice in to bring it down, that too can't be good so I went on line tho adjust the baking time....and hope for the best. Not the best results but at least I got images...only to find since I used the Bronica last the film magazine now has a light leak to one side. All the shots have this wash coming in from the side.....talk about working for the shot, but I still love film with all its glory and heartaches : )
