On June 12th, D’light Talk, a seminar called “ Click The World : Draw The World With Light” was held at D’light, which is located in Samsung Electronics Building. The seminar featured two photography classes by Jong Hoon Kim, and Youn Hee Jung, who are currently active as professional photographers in Korea. WB1000 was introduced in the seminar. A great deal of people from high school students to elders in their 50’s participated in the D’light Talk.

I've talked before about major advocacy events when an idea has gone
viral through use of social media, and had significant impact.
Usually, tho, these are planned and funded, have backing, have
knowhow, are fairly slick in some sense. They begin as home grown, but
by the time they go viral, they've grown up quite a bit. No longer a
garage band, but with an orchestra backup.
This is one that is JUST social media. There is not a lot of money
behind it, no fancy website, no slick graphics, or Youtube videos.
Just people with passion. A couple Facebook pages, a few blogposts. It
started in Florida with yet more proposed cuts. It was a case of the
straw that broke the camel's back. Education all over America has been
taking a lot of cuts. The economic climate isn't great, money is
needed and is coming from all sorts of public services. But education
is the public service most likely to turn the economic problems
around. One would think a good planner would throw money into it, not
take money out. So folks in Florida rebelled, and decided to wear red
on January 4th as a gesture of support for public education. It
snowballed from there, and has gone national.
