This Iris germanica "White Knight" is supposed to bloom in May-June but to my surprise it started at the end of August! It got three lovely flowers which were destroyed by rain too quickly.
Just before my surgery I was able to take this picture, it will remind me of all my new chances now that I have a new knee!

With steel-grey eyes, like a raven waiting for death, the mere presence of a Knight of Brigidar is enough to terrify even the bravest of warriors.
I think I found a good use for the lone ranger head. :D

His duty will be to defend the honour of his sister, Lady Catherine from Sir Hector who seeks her favour and will use all means in battle, fair or foul to achieve his aims.

I've been playing around with this combination for a little while, but finally got my hands on some decent gryffindor shields. No idea about the name, it just seemed to fit.
These three photos were taken recently after hearing the sad news that one of our popular (at least, I thought it was popular) department stores will be closing down in July - this is the cafe in Knight & Lee (part of the John Lewis Partnership).
Here's me, unable to resist this brownie or rocky road, or whatever it was!! (I did share it with JJ!)
These photos have been in my "Upload to Flickr" folder for a while and I don't remember editing these! If they look a bit orange it's probably the lighting!! (I haven't been 'Tangoed'!)

Controversial because some players didn't like being forced to use, I actually wish I could have used it more. The Arkham Knight Batmobile transformed from super fast 'pursuit mode' to deadly (non-lethal) battle mode.
This is a Templar Knight I made a few days ago, and I thought I should post it! I like the way it turned out. It was heavily inspired by R.Goff and his Knight, So I give lots of credit to him. I hope you all enjoy, and if you have any questions, just ask them off in the comment section!

K.I.T.T. had a T-top, which allowed Michael Knight to climb on top of the vehicle and do heroic stuff whilst the car drove itself. I'm sure that it was highly exciting stuff to watch, but nowadays I'm hard pressed to think of a single plot of the series.
From the Earth the Knight dose rise,

The Queen knights sir-someone-or-other while her consort looks on... (because if he was the King, wouldn't he be doing the knighting instead? and that would defeat the purpose of the Queen standing up to show off her pretty dress....)
(I'm sure there are all sorts of problems with this rendition, but oh well!)
(Among them, two errors that are more visible from angle, because something shifted before I took the picture... it's all so fragile, sigh...)

This is my 16th year covering this fun festival filled with color and pageantry and beautiful people. Each year some of the regulars return and sometimes fresh new faces appear to join the eclectic Renaissance Family. Some are vendors or employees, and some customers dress up to fit in with the renaissance festival fun and its 16th century way of life. One big happy family of a few thousand escaping the dull drums of their daily life for a few hours. This year's crop of new faces was lovely. Hope you enjoy the images. I try to capture their joy. Always fun, festive, very colorful and exciting!

Today I built the Lego Ideas Blacksmith Shop so i decided to build a Black Knight fig to go with it. Appearently no one has made Lego Black Knight to my knowledge. This is the Tigerverse version. I don't love it but I think it's pretty good with my limited mideval collection. Also, its and awesome set.
