Part of a series for designer/builder. My client wanted the lights on so I kept some of the color casts that were existing because when I removed it all it looked fake. . Most powerful light by bank of windows and few others placed for fill.

The kitchen is an addition to the "old" house, but matched the interior styling of the old house. It featured a lowered ceiling, vinyl flooring, plastic tiles, and lots of press board paneling.
Bright and white cabinets are featured in this remodeled kitchen in home in Trenton Township, with cherry hardwood floors, marble backsplashes, Moen plumbing fixtures and brass hardware.
We recently bought ourselfs a new and bigger house and are in the process of selling this one. We've lived here for five years.
1799 Portage Rd, Wooster, OH. This store opened on November 20, 1992 as a replacement for a store just to the east of this one. Its final day in business was September 3, 2017.

The left rear corner of the store, where the hardware & automotive sections were. Layaway & restrooms are straight ahead.
28mm, ISO 200, 5 bracketed exposures +/- 1 stop from 1/90s @ f8. Merged in Photomatix and final editing in PS3.
For all those who have been following the renovation, here's the (almost) finished article. We still need to decorate and there are a few minor things to finish off (not least the garden and removing the plastic from the cooker hood) but it's pretty much liveable in.
It's a large L-shaped room, with a kitchen area, a dining area and a couple of sofas. It leads through into what used to be the dining room (part of the original house) and which is now Clara's playroom. This is taken from just outside the playroom.
More pics in the renovation set.
The kitchen at the Coyote Flaco where we realised that it wasn't the local potatoes that were to blame for their lack of cooking, but the temperature at which water boils when you're 2,400m above sea level.
Photographed for contractor. All flash and ambient blends. Was tricky with color casts - still not sure, feels like there is a pink tint in places.
You really have no idea how far I've fallen behind posting these pictures. It's becoming clear I will either have to curb my camera habits...or drown in an endless sea of photos. 😉
Inside the House of the Seven Gables
Salem, MA
"The east room, thought to be the original parlor of the 1668 house, was divided in 1909. The northern two
thirds of the original room were remodeled to represent a seventeenth-century kitchen with vertical shadowmolded
sheathing on the walls and a large brick fireplace fitted, in the seventeenth century manner, with a rear
oven and herring bone patterned brick below a smoke panel. The exposed framing members are, with the
exception of the chimney lintel, the only original 1668 features in the room."
Finally! Got the shelves adjusted and the basics set up - furniture, stairs, etc... Now moving on to details (pictures on the walls, decor...). Top shelf - entrance, table for guests and counter (counter is still in progress!). Middle shelf - more sitting for guests. Bottom shelf - kitchen - also still in progress. I plan to make a long table for baking/cooking where the chest of drawers is sitting right now. Also, need to build entrance door for the top of the stairs.
But so far so good... A bit cramped, but with 1:4 scale it's hard to make a large display with limited space.
