Late addition this year to the tree, but just what I've been looking for... a sputnik-esque style tree topper and made of aluminum and plastic which seems to be the perfect combination with the tree. Note - the light is actually hanging above, and does not touch the tree, preventing shock hazards.

Inertia Productions presents Dancing In My Unbirthday Suit at the Ste Ambroise Montreal Fringe Festival 2009
Montreal’s 2008 Spirit of the Fringe Award winners present an unbirthday party for absolutely everyone; frilly dresses, outspoken balloons, twisted stripteases, monster gifts, an inconceivable backwards romance, and best of all kitsh dance numbers. With all the enthusiasm in the world stuffed into three pretty young ladies, the creativity of the work amounts to an outrageously fun, unequaled show!

Just an odd assortment of stuff-- The two framed florals are PBN's, and the first two I ever bought. I think the moment that I found them is when I discovered I loved kitsh.
